基于Littlejohn任务评估理论的《物流英语》口语任务设置的研究

教材是课程设置中不可或缺的组成部分,而任务设置是教材的有机组成部分,其质量对提高学生综合语言水平,培养学生自主学习能力有着重要的作用。目前高职院校物流英语教材日益增多,但很少有专门针对物流英语教材的研究。本文从任务设置的角度出发,对高职高专物流专业英语教材《新职业英语·物流英语》(外研社版)的口语任务设置进行评估研究,主要回答以下问题: 1.基于Littlejohn的任务评估理论,《物流英语》教材中的口语任务设置有什么特点? 2.《物流英语》教材中口语任务设置的主要优点和缺点是什么?缺点存在的原因是什么? 本文以Littlejohn(1998)对“任务”的诠释及其任务分析表为分析框架,以问卷调查和个人访谈为研究工具,对湖南现代物流职业技术学院的200名学生和7名英语教师进行了问卷调查和访谈,采用定性和定量研究相结合的方法。通过分析调查数据和对教材的口语任务设置的评估,得出如下研究发现与结果: 1.《物流英语》教材的口语任务设置的特点有:口语任务需要学习者主动发起口语练习,并鼓励合作学习;所有的主题都与物流行业最典型工作过程密切相关;但输入和期望输出的形式缺乏多样性,很难提高学生兴趣,激...
