基于FPGA的IPv6网络测试系统设计

【摘要】:FPGA技术在网络通信、电子信息等领域都有广泛的应用。它具备可靠性高、高速处理数据信息等优点,且与微处理器技术相比,具有无操作系统、硬件结构类似于模拟系统的优势。此外,FPGA技术还有复杂度小、容易于验证、兼容性好、数据处理速度极高、信息吞吐量大、逻辑资源量丰富等特点。所以,FPGA技术应用在网络测试系统中有较好的优势。为了能够满足IPv6千兆以太网网络设备的测试要求,且定量分析IPv6网络设备诸如吞吐量、时延、丢包率、背靠背、均衡负载等一系列衡量系统性能的参数指标,本测试系统充分利用FPGA技术。为了可以高速处理数据信息,以FPGA为主芯片,设计了一款IPv6千兆以太网网络测试卡。该IPv6千兆以太网络测试板卡配合专用的测试机箱在专用的软件测试平台构成了IPv6千兆以太网络测试系统从而实现对IPv6网的测试。本论文重点介绍了该测试板卡的硬件结构、工作原理,包括该测试板卡的主要元器件、接口、通信总线以及与专用的测试机箱、测试软件平台配合后构成完整的IPv6网络测试系统。然后,利用华三公司高性能千兆路由器作为被测试网络设备,对该IPv6千兆以太网测试系统进行IPv6网络的测试验证、分析表明:该测试系统所测试的吞吐量、时延、丢包率、负载均衡、背靠背、QoS等各项性能指标均符合国家相关测试标准,能够达到线速处理能力、性价比较高,而且该系统还可以便于以后的扩展和升级。所以该IPv6网络测试系统具有广阔的应用空间和应用前景。
[Abstract]:FPGA technology in network communication, electronic information and other fields are widely used. It has high reliability, high speed data processing information etc., and compared with the microprocessor technology, with no operating system, the hardware structure is similar to the simulation system. In addition, FPGA also has technical complexity, easy to verify, good compatibility the data processing speed, high throughput, large amount of information, logical resource rich features. Therefore, the application of FPGA technology has a good advantage in the network test system. In order to meet the IPv6 Gigabit Ethernet network equipment test requirements, and quantitative analysis of IPv6 network equipment such as throughput, delay, packet loss rate, back-to-back, load balance a series of measure system performance parameters of the test system. In order to make full use of FPGA technology in high speed data processing information, based on FPGA chip, the design of a Gigabit to IPv6 So network test card. The IPv6 Gigabit Ethernet test board with special test chassis to form IPv6 Gigabit Ethernet network test system in software testing platform dedicated to realize the IPv6 network test. This paper introduces the hardware structure, the working principle of the test board, including the test board main component, interface communication bus and chassis test, special test software platform, with the IPv6 network test system complete. Then, by three China's high performance Gigabit router as network equipment under test, analysis of test, the IPv6 network of the IPv6 Gigabit Ethernet test system show that the test system test throughput. Time delay, packet loss rate, load balancing, back to back, the performance of QoS are in line with national testing standards, can achieve line speed processing ability, price It is relatively high, and the system can also be extended and upgraded in the future. So the IPv6 network testing system has a broad application space and application prospects.
