面向视频服务的智能光网络性能评估方法研究

【摘要】:如今我们已经进入信息共享时代,伴随而来的是网络流量的飞速增长和用户对高清流媒体服务日益增长的需求。依托于智能光网络所提供的巨大带宽和智能管控能力,结合了视频服务的特性及其实现机制,面向视频服务的智能光网络正在如火如茶地进行中。 目前的网络性能评估方法是基于视频服务性能评估和光网络性能评估这两个方面进行的。视频服务性能评估主要是基于主观层面的流媒体视频质量评估和客观层面的视频流传输质量测试进行的;光网络性能评估则是基于已有的测试标准进行的,它主要关注的是光网络的底层性能参数,如眼图、链路损耗、业务建拆路时延等。然而,这两个方面是两个相对平行的研究对象,并不能对一套面向视频服务的智能光网络系统进行综合性能的评估。由此带来的直接影响是对所建设的网络不能得到综合性能评估数据,这进一步将导致大量资源的浪费而且不能为以后的网络建设提供指导依据。 为了有效地解决这一问题,本论文提出了一套面向视频服务的、基于智能光网络架构的性能评估方法。课题通过对传统视频服务性能评估和传统光网络性能评估的研究,结合面向视频服务的智能光网络的特性、体系架构和实现机制,借鉴0SI/IS0模型,提出了一种综合性能评估方法。该评估方法由五个层面组成,可以达到从多个层次、多个角度分析网络性能的效果。 最后,基于实验室课题组搭建完成的面向视频服务的智能光网络平台,本论文运用所提出的综合性能评估方法对其展开了评测实施,以实现对该性能评估方法的验证,并期望对其他网络系统的评估提供参考依据。
[Abstract]:Now we have entered the era of information sharing, accompanied by the rapid growth of network traffic and the growing demand of users for HD streaming media services. Relying on the huge bandwidth and intelligent control ability provided by the intelligent optical network, and combining the characteristics of the video service and its implementation mechanism, the intelligent optical network for the video service is in progress as hot as tea. Current network performance evaluation methods are based on two aspects: video service performance evaluation and optical network performance evaluation. The performance evaluation of video service is mainly based on the subjective quality evaluation of streaming media and the quality test of video streaming transmission on the objective level, while the performance evaluation of optical network is based on the existing test standards. It mainly focuses on the underlying performance parameters of optical networks, such as eye diagram, link loss, delay in building and disconnecting services, and so on. However, these two aspects are two relatively parallel research objects, which can not evaluate the comprehensive performance of a video service-oriented intelligent optical network system. The direct impact is that the constructed network can not get the comprehensive performance evaluation data, which will further lead to the waste of a large number of resources and can not provide guidance for the future network construction. In order to solve this problem effectively, this paper proposes a performance evaluation method based on intelligent optical network architecture for video service. Through the research of traditional video service performance evaluation and traditional optical network performance evaluation, combining the characteristics, architecture and implementation mechanism of video service-oriented intelligent optical network, a comprehensive performance evaluation method is proposed based on 0SI/IS0 model. The evaluation method is composed of five layers and can be used to analyze the network performance from multiple levels and angles. Finally, based on the intelligent optical network platform for video service set up by the lab team, this paper uses the proposed comprehensive performance evaluation method to evaluate and implement it to realize the verification of the performance evaluation method. It is expected to provide reference for the evaluation of other network systems.
