IP网络时延测量与估计技术的研究与实现

【摘要】:以互联网为代表的IP网络在人类社会生活中扮演着越来越重要的地位。互联网技术的迅猛发展,网络规模的不断扩大,同时网络异构化程度的不断增加,使得当今的网络环境日益复杂。网络时延对于网络故障排除、流量监控、网络拓扑结构设计等许多方面具有重大作用,因此IP网络时延的测量、估计和分析研究具有重要的意义。 本文首先针对链路时延估计PLE算法计算复杂度较高的问题,通过采用可变步长离散化时延模型,减少了网络时延的量化问隔,从而降低了链路时延估计PLE算法的计算复杂度,并在NS-2仿真实验的基础上,验证了改进后算法的准确性和高效性;其次介绍了分布式网络质量监测与路由优化系统的子系统即分布式网络质量监测系统的设计与实现,网络质量监测系统是大量网络时延数据的来源和基础,并且测量得到的时延数据也用于路由优化系统的分析和计算,从而完成网络质量监测和优化的功能;最后通过对IP网络大范围测量得到的网络时延数据进行统计分析和建模,指出时延分布近似符合威布尔模型曲线,发现了时延分布的一般规律,并用matlab仿真软件对往返时延数据进行了拟合,从而验证了分布模型的合理性和有效性。 通过本文的研究,改进的PLE算法降低了链路时延估计的计算复杂度,并且分布式网络质量监测系统较好的实现了网络时延测量的功能,因此可以广泛运用到未来的网络时延测量和估计中。
[Abstract]:IP network, represented by the Internet, plays a more and more important role in human social life. With the rapid development of Internet technology, the expansion of network scale and the increasing degree of isomerization, the network environment is becoming more and more complex. Network delay plays an important role in many aspects such as network troubleshooting, traffic monitoring, network topology design and so on. Therefore, the measurement, estimation and analysis of IP network delay are of great significance. In order to solve the problem of high computational complexity of the link delay estimation (PLE) algorithm, this paper uses a variable step discretization delay model to reduce the quantization of the network delay, thus reducing the computational complexity of the link delay estimation PLE algorithm. Based on the simulation experiment of NS-2, the accuracy and efficiency of the improved algorithm are verified. Secondly, the design and implementation of the distributed network quality monitoring and routing optimization system, which is the subsystem of the distributed network quality monitoring system, is introduced. The network quality monitoring system is the source and foundation of a large number of network delay data, and the measured delay data are also used in the analysis and calculation of the routing optimization system, thus completing the function of network quality monitoring and optimization. Finally, through the statistical analysis and modeling of the network delay data measured in a wide range of IP networks, it is pointed out that the time delay distribution approximately accords with the Weibull model curve, and the general rule of the delay distribution is found. The round trip delay data are fitted with matlab simulation software, which verifies the rationality and validity of the distribution model. Through the research in this paper, the improved PLE algorithm reduces the computational complexity of link delay estimation, and the distributed network quality monitoring system achieves the function of network delay measurement. Therefore, it can be widely used in the future network delay measurement and estimation.
