邮件服务器的设计与实现

【摘要】:电子邮件是—种用电子手段提供信息交换的通信方式,是因特网上最大、最主要的一项应用。利用电子邮件系统,用户可以实现用低价格、高效快速的手段,实现和全球每一个地区的用户进行沟通。由于它的实用性、高性能及对计算机和通信方面的要求较低,利用电子邮件来交互信息,成为了人与人之间交流联络的重要方式。 随着计算机软硬件的发展和通信服务质量的提高,邮件系统实现了对电子信函、文件数字、图像和数字化语音等各类型的信息的传送。与此同时,用户可方便的获得很多免费的新闻信息、各种专题邮件信息,实现快速高效的信息检索,其广泛的使用改变了传统的交流方式。电子邮件是在因特网及所有其他的局域网络系统间直接面向每个人之间的信息交流系统,其数据发送方和接收方都是每个人,所以极大地满足了人与人之间的通信沟通的需求。 本文主要介绍了电子邮件服务器的设计与实现过程。首先简单介绍了电子邮件系统的历史和其国内外研究现状,了解了当今电子邮件技术的发展水平,并进一步提出本文将开展的工作;接着对电子邮件结构、邮件系统的工作原理、简单邮件传输协议与邮局协议进行了概述,介绍了电子邮件的地址格式和邮件的格式,以及用户代理、邮件传输代理、邮件投递的程序和邮件的传输及其读取协议;然后重点介绍了邮件服务器的设计与实现,,系统分析了SMTP服务器和POP3服务器,对邮件服务器的总体设计提出了方案,并进行具体SMTP服务器及POP3服务器设计的实现,域名系统访问函数的实现,以及邮件投递函数的实现;最后对所设计的系统进行邮件服务器的测试同时指出本论文的不足与可改进之处,对邮件服务器进行技术分析,安全性技术分析,并论述了邮件系统的发展趋势。 因特网上的电子邮件是通过简单邮件传输协议来传送的,简单邮件传输协议主要是规范发送方与接送方之间的对话过程。用户要想从邮件服务器上取回信件则多采用邮局协议,它提供了从邮箱中获取邮件的一组标准机制。本课题所设计的邮件服务器支持简单邮件传输协议与邮局协议。
[Abstract]:E-mail is a kind of communication which provides information exchange by electronic means. It is the largest and most important application on the Internet. Using email system, users can communicate with users in every region of the world with low price, high efficiency and fast means. Because of its practicability, high performance and low requirements for computers and communications, the use of email to exchange information has become an important way of communication between people. With the development of computer software and hardware and the improvement of communication service quality, the mail system realizes the transmission of various types of information, such as electronic letter, file digital, image and digital voice. At the same time, users can easily get a lot of free news information, a variety of special email information, to achieve rapid and efficient information retrieval, its extensive use has changed the traditional way of communication. E-mail is a kind of information exchange system between Internet and all other local area network systems. The data sender and receiver are everyone, so it can meet the need of communication between people. This paper mainly introduces the design and implementation of e-mail server. Firstly, it introduces the history of email system and its research status at home and abroad, understands the development level of email technology, and further puts forward the work to be carried out in this paper. The working principle of the mail system, the simple mail transfer protocol and the post office protocol are summarized, and the address format and the mail format of the email are introduced, as well as the user agent, the mail transfer agent, This paper introduces the design and implementation of mail server, systematically analyzes SMTP server and POP3 server, and puts forward a scheme for the overall design of mail server. The implementation of the specific SMTP server and POP3 server, the implementation of the domain name system access function, and the realization of the mail delivery function; Finally, the system is tested and pointed out the shortcomings and improvements of this paper, the mail server technical analysis, security technology analysis, and discusses the development trend of the mail system. E-mail on the internet is transmitted by simple mail transfer protocol, which mainly regulates the process of conversation between sender and receiver. In order to retrieve the mail from the mail server, a post office protocol is used, which provides a set of standard mechanism for obtaining the mail from the mailbox. The mail server designed in this paper supports simple mail transfer protocol and post office protocol.
