基于性能模型的服务链构建方法及自动化研究

【摘要】:网络应用的复杂化和多样化使得传统网络暴露出越来越多的不足,业务需求与网络基础能力之间的差距日益加剧,传统网络越来越难以适应复杂多变的业务需求。这一切促使以追求开放、可扩展、可管控、业务普适为目的的新一代网络体系架构得到广泛的研究。国家973计划项目“可重构信息通信基础网络体系研究”提出了以元能力理论为基础的可重构信息通信基础网络,作为新一代网络体系架构的一种,它构建了一个功能可动态重构的网络,因此对元能力网络的研究具有重要的意义。 服务链作为元能力网络的基础组成部分,它提供的性能好坏直接影响元能力网络提供给业务流的服务质量保证。本文针对这一问题,以性能模型为基础,对最优服务链的构建方法进行深入研究,提出了一种基于性能模型的服务链构建方法,其主要研究内容有: 1)根据现代网络中数据流的流量特征,以随机网络演算作为计算网络性能的理论工具,为业务流建立串联结构服务链端到端延时性能上界模型和数据积压性能上界模型。 2)设计一种服务链表达方式,用服务链表达式来表示任意结构的服务链,然后在此基础上,设计一种服务链简化算法,将任意结构服务链等效为串联结构服务链来处理。 3)以性能模型、服务链表达方法和服务链简化算法为基础,设计一个服务链构建方法。然后以服务链构建方法为理论核心,设计并实现一个基于性能模型的服务链自动化构建工具,并展示一个用工具构建实现IPv4路由转发功能的服务链的实例。最后编写程序进行仿真,以验证工具构建正确性。
[Abstract]:Because of the complexity and diversification of network application, the traditional network exposes more and more shortcomings, the gap between the service requirement and the network basic capability is becoming more and more serious, and the traditional network is becoming more and more difficult to adapt to the complex and changeable business requirements. All this has led to extensive research on a new generation of network architecture that seeks to be open, scalable, manageable, and business universal. The National 973 Project "Research on Reconfigurable Information and Communication basic Network system" puts forward the reconfigurable information and communication basic network based on meta-capability theory, which is one of the new generation network architecture. It constructs a dynamically reconfigurable network, so the research of meta-capability network is of great significance. As the basic component of meta-capability network, the performance of service chain directly affects the quality of service (QoS) assurance provided by meta-capability network to traffic flow. Aiming at this problem, based on the performance model, this paper deeply studies the construction method of the optimal service chain, and puts forward a service chain construction method based on the performance model. The main research contents are as follows: 1) according to the traffic characteristics of data flow in modern network, the upper bound model of end-to-end delay performance and the upper bound model of data backlog performance for service chain in series structure are established by using stochastic network calculus as a theoretical tool to calculate network performance. 2) A service chain representation method is designed, which is used to represent the service chain with arbitrary structure. Based on this, a simplified service chain algorithm is designed, which is equivalent to the series structure service chain. 3) based on the performance model, service chain representation method and service chain simplification algorithm, a service chain construction method is designed. Then, a service chain automation tool based on performance model is designed and implemented based on the service chain construction method, and an example of how to build service chain with tools to realize IPv4 routing and forwarding function is presented. Finally, the program is written to verify the correctness of the tool.
