面向IDC网络的4over6网关技术研究与设计

【摘要】:2011年全球IPv4地址分配殆尽,由IPv4向IPv6过渡已成为推动互联网发展的关键步骤。近年来许多主流ISP (Internet Service Provider)已完成大规模IPv6网络升级部署,然而互联网内容供应商ICP (Internet Content Provider)提供的绝大多数应用服务仍然仅支持IPv4。对于部署在互联网数据中心IDC (Internet Data Center)中的海量IPv4应用服务器,如何在IPv6接入网络环境下确保其在IPv4公网中的可达性,成为IPv6过渡面临的一项关键技术问题。针对该问题,本文首先针对IDC网络IPv6过渡需求以及主流IPv4-over-IPv6隧道技术方案进行综述。通过对比分析几种不同隧道过渡机制,本文选择Public 4over6方案作为研究基础,提出了一种面向IDC网络的4over6网关技术。该技术通过扩展IDC网络网关与接入网核心路由器设备功能,使IDC网络内IPv4服务器能跨越ISP的IPv6网络与IPv4互联网实现互访。针对ICP服务器无法正确配置IPv4网关地址的问题,本文对4over6网关的DHCPv4-over-IPv6协议交互行为进行扩展,使其能自动为内侧ICP服务器配置正确网关地址。此外,针对4over6核心路由器难以静态配置ICP服务器IPv4/IPv6地址映射状态的问题,本文以DHCP协议为基础进行扩展,定义新DHCP选项来携带服务器IPv4地址,使4over6网关能主动为4over6核心路由器配置地址映射状态,从而解决4over6隧道动态配置问题。基于上述研究成果,本文进行了4over6网关原型系统设计与实现。利用Linux网络内核API与ISC (Internet System Consortium) DHCP开源项目,本文在Ubuntu平台上分别完成4over6网关与4over6核心路由器代码实现,并通过功能与性能测试验证了4over6网关技术方案的可行性。
[Abstract]:In 2011, the global IPv4 address has been allocated completely, and the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 has become a key step to promote the development of the Internet. In recent years, many mainstream ISPs (Internet Service providers) have completed large-scale IPv6 network upgrading and deployment, but most of the application services provided by Internet content provider ICP / Internet content provider still support IPv4 only. For the massive IPv4 application server deployed in Internet data Center IDC (Internet data Center), how to ensure the reachability in IPv4 public network under IPv6 access network environment has become a key technical problem in the transition of IPv6. In order to solve this problem, this paper firstly summarizes the transition demand of IPv6 in IDC network and the main IPv4-over-IPv6 tunneling technology. By comparing and analyzing several different tunnel transition mechanisms, this paper chooses Public 4over6 scheme as the research foundation, and proposes a 4over6 gateway technology for IDC-oriented network. By extending the functions of IDC network gateway and access network core router equipment, this technology enables IPv4 servers in IDC network to cross the IPv6 network of ISP and IPv4 Internet to realize the exchange of visits. Aiming at the problem that 4over6 server can not configure the address of IPv4 gateway correctly, this paper extends the interaction behavior of DHCPv4-over-IPv6 protocol of 4over6 gateway, so that it can automatically configure the correct gateway address for the inner ICP server. In addition, aiming at the problem that it is difficult for 4over6 core routers to statically configure the IPv4 / IPv6 address mapping status of 4over6 server, this paper extends it on the basis of DHCP protocol, and defines a new DHCP option to carry the IPv4 address of the server. The 4over6 gateway can actively configure the address mapping state for the 4over6 core router, thus solving the problem of dynamic configuration of the 4over6 tunnel. Based on the above research results, this paper designs and implements the prototype system of 4over6 gateway. Using Linux network kernel API and ISC-Internet system consortiums) DHCP open source project, this paper implements 4over6 gateway and 4over6 core router code separately on Ubuntu platform, and verifies the feasibility of 4over6 gateway technology scheme through function and performance test.
