ISP免费对等互联策略

【摘要】:建立免费对等关系,可以令互联网服务提供商(ISP)减少费用开销并获得更好的传输性能。单个ISP在选择对等互联对象中,评估不同互联对象带来的开销、收益及双方的互联意愿等至关重要,然而它们的关系比较复杂。该文选择以接入点(POP)地理位置之间的距离、假设对等互联建立后的流量、两个ISP在全网中的层次地位来对上述关系进行简化,从而提出了通过计算距离、流量和层次来进行互联选择的简便方法。通过中国教育和科研计算机网(CERNET)的实际对等互联选择过程,验证了该方法的效果。
[Abstract]:Establishing a free peer-to-peer relationship can reduce the cost and achieve better transmission performance of Internet service provider (ISP). In the selection of peer-to-peer interconnected objects, it is very important for a single ISP to evaluate the costs, benefits and interconnection willingness of different interconnected objects. However, the relationship between them is complex. In this paper, the distance between the geographic locations of the access point (POP), assuming the traffic after peer-to-peer interconnection is established, and the hierarchical position of the two ISP in the whole network are selected to simplify the above relations. A simple method for selecting interconnections by flow and hierarchy. The effectiveness of this method is verified by the process of peer to peer interconnection selection of (CERNET) in China Education and Scientific Research computer Network.
