基于令牌的电信级以太网保护技术的研究

【摘要】:在1973年,以太网诞生了,在过去的几十年中,虽然有很多种技术与以太网竞争,但是以太网技术还是一如既往的快速前进,而有很多技术已经如过往云烟。而现在,网络中承载业务流量的网络接口绝大部分都是以太网接口了,以太网已经无处不在,以太网整合网络的大势也越来越显著了。以太网技术已经明显超出了其原有的局域网起源,成为一个有吸引力的,强大的解决方案。电信级以太网CE (Carrier Ethernet)概念的出现,是以太网技术最引人注目的一次飞跃。利用电信级以太网超高的效率和灵活性,运营商们可以提供高品质的新宽带服务,同时又大幅度的降低投资成本和维护成本,增加了收入,而广大用户可享受更多种类和更加灵活的服务,且费用较低。但是,以太网的可靠性一直以来都是制约其在电信级网络上大规模运营的主要因素。 本文为了增强以太网可靠性,分析了以太网OAM在故障检测机制中的不足,在现有以太网保护技术的基础上,提出了一种基于令牌的保护倒换机制,并对不同拓扑结构的以太网分别设计了保护方案。 首先,介绍了电信级以太网的相关概念和基本要求。 随后,介绍了以太网保护参考模型以及故障检测方法,详细叙述了链路聚合技术、生成树协议、EAPS、RPR、G.8032和G.8031等以太网保护技术,剖析了其各自的优缺点。 接着,针对现有以太网保护技术中OAM故障检测机制的不足和保护过程中MAC地址刷新导致的泛洪,提出了基于令牌的保护倒换机制,对线性、单环和多环结构分别设计了保护方案。 最后,通过OPNET仿真软件对在不同结构下以太网基于令牌的保护过程进行了模拟仿真,验证了基于令牌的保护倒换机制在以太网中应用的可行性。
[Abstract]:In 1973, Ethernet was born, in the past few decades, although there are many kinds of technologies to compete with Ethernet, but Ethernet technology is as fast as ever, and there are many technologies as in the past. Now, the network interface that carries the service flow in the network is mostly Ethernet interface, Ethernet has been everywhere, the trend of Ethernet integration network is becoming more and more obvious. Ethernet technology has gone beyond its original LAN origins to become an attractive, powerful solution. The emergence of telecom Ethernet CE (Carrier Ethernet) concept is the most noticeable leap in Ethernet technology. Taking advantage of the high efficiency and flexibility of telecom Ethernet, operators can provide high-quality new broadband services, while significantly reducing investment and maintenance costs, increasing revenue, And the vast number of users can enjoy more types and more flexible services, and lower cost. However, the reliability of Ethernet has been a major constraint on its large-scale operation in telecom-grade networks. In order to enhance the reliability of Ethernet, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of Ethernet OAM in fault detection mechanism. Based on the existing Ethernet protection technology, a token based protection switching mechanism is proposed. Protection schemes are designed for Ethernet with different topologies. Firstly, the concept and basic requirements of telecom-level Ethernet are introduced. Then, the ethernet protection reference model and fault detection method are introduced, and the link aggregation technology, EAPSU RPRP G.8032 and G.8031 Ethernet protection technologies are described in detail, and their respective advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. Then, aiming at the deficiency of OAM fault detection mechanism in the existing Ethernet protection technology and the flooding caused by MAC address refresh in the protection process, a token based protection switching mechanism is proposed. The protection schemes of single ring and multi-ring structures are designed respectively. Finally, the token based protection process of Ethernet is simulated by OPNET simulation software, which verifies the feasibility of token based protection switching mechanism in Ethernet.
