ForCES控制件失效检测与恢复方法的研究与实现

【摘要】:随着计算机网络的高速发展、信息化进程的不断深入,人们越来越关注网络设备的可靠性和安全性。同时,网络设备的高可用性也受到普遍的重视。转发与控制分离的开放可编程的网络体系结构由IETF(国际互联网工程任务组)中的ForCES (Forwarding and Control Element Separation)工作组提出,它是网络设备的重要发展方向之一。ForCES控制件高可用性研究备受信息技术研究者的关注。 本文通过分析基于冷备份的ForCES高可用性以及ForCES体系结构,研究基于热备份的ForCES高可用性中控制件失效检测与恢复方法。本文详细研究了可用控制件列表的产生、更新与同步,以及如何实现多个可用控制件之间数据的一致性的方法。为了及时有效的检测主控制件是否失效,本文提出了点检测与心跳检测相结合的方法。当主控制件被检测出处于非正常工作状态时,为了更好地实现主备之间的无缝切换,本文引用并改进基于IP的任务接管机制。最后,本文给出了ForCES高可用性中控制件失效检测与恢复的具体实现过程,并对其进行功能与性能上的测试分析,充分证明其可用性与正确性。 本文的工作为ForCES高可用性的改善奠定了基础,满足了多控制件冗余备份的需求,且通过点检测和心跳检测相结合的方法,有效防止转发件切换到不同的控制件。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of computer network and the deepening of information process, people pay more and more attention to the reliability and security of network equipment. At the same time, the high availability of network equipment has also been widely valued. The open programmable network architecture for the separation of forwarding and control was proposed by the ForCES (Forwarding and Control Element Separation) working group in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). It is one of the important development directions of network equipment. The research on high availability of forces control parts has attracted the attention of information technology researchers. Based on the analysis of ForCES high availability and ForCES architecture based on cold backup, this paper studies the failure detection and recovery method of control parts in ForCES high availability based on hot backup. In this paper, the generation, update and synchronization of available control parts list, and how to realize the data consistency among multiple available controllers are studied in detail. In order to detect the failure of the main control parts in time and effectively, a method of combining point detection with heartbeat detection is proposed in this paper. When the main controller is detected to be in an abnormal working state, in order to better realize the seamless switching between the master and standby, this paper refers to and improves the task taking-over mechanism based on IP. Finally, the realization process of failure detection and recovery of control parts in ForCES high availability is given, and its function and performance are tested and analyzed, which fully proves its availability and correctness. The work of this paper lays a foundation for the improvement of ForCES high availability, meets the needs of redundant backup of multi-control parts, and effectively prevents the forwarding parts from switching to different controls by combining point detection and heartbeat detection.
