[Abstract]:Since the emergence of the Internet, it has become an indispensable part of our living environment. And in the number of pages we face every day, many of them are unfamiliar to us. For unfamiliar pages, it takes only five seconds to attract and retain users. Based on this background, this paper uses the eye movement instrument to record the real browsing behavior of the user, and through the analysis of the user's eye movement data, to explore the aesthetic factors that attract the user's attention and affect the aesthetic judgment of the user in 5 seconds. Perceived visual complexity, as a global factor affecting the user's perceived interface, has an important impact on the final aesthetic evaluation of the user. When users browse the web page, the web page is the visual environment in which the user lives. This paper holds that when the user's line of sight can be well guided, the page is simple and easy to understand for the user, that is, the visual complexity perceived by the user is low. However, when the user's line of sight is not guided and blindly and at a loss, the page is difficult for the user to understand, that is, the visual complexity it perceives is high. In this paper, by introducing the concept of visual attention model, the complexity perceived by users is displayed visually. Through experiments, it is verified that the aesthetic evaluation of web pages will experience the change of inverted U-shaped curve with the increase of visual complexity, which increases at first and then decreases. At the same time, comparison, as an important factor affecting users' line of sight, has a vital impact on the overall visual complexity of the page. By adjusting the comparison between the visual elements of the interface, we can adjust the visual complexity that the page as a whole is perceived by the user, and finally adjust the aesthetic evaluation of the web page. In this paper, the above conclusions are demonstrated by the combination of eye movement experiment and questionnaire survey. At the same time, the above conclusions are applied to the design practice, and the web page is redesigned, and the comparative experiment is carried out with it as the experimental material. The experimental results are ideal.
