【摘要】:元好问的民本实践业绩突出,金末国土日缩,军费日增,竭泽而渔,弊政百出,他宁为循吏,不为能吏,难能可贵;汴京围城中,外无援兵,内无粮草,为解救百万京民,他敢于冒天下之大不韪,向宰执建议以降求存,与以君国至上的传统士人迥异;金亡后,他以史易诗,旨在为新朝提供蒙汉合作、以儒治国之史鉴,使人民免遭奴隶制残余之苦,其忍痛割爱为时而著的贡献后世莫及;他上书耶律楚材、觐见忽必烈,直接目的是保护儒士,延续儒道,而最终还是旨在储蓄治具,推行仁政,救民于水火之中,其不惜名节,忍辱负重,堪称达节。
