扬雄四赋作年新论

【摘要】：目前学界对扬雄四赋写作年代的判定,主要依据《汉书·扬雄传》《汉书·成帝纪》等相关记载,形成了影响广泛的"持《汉书》论"。此论主要特征是将《汉书》作为判定扬雄四赋作年的最可信的证据。由于《汉书·成帝纪》和《汉书·扬雄传》的相关记载并不同时,"持《汉书》论"内部也存在分歧和争议。通过分析《汉书·扬雄传》中颜师古一则注释的错误,指出《汉书·扬雄传》并非是录自扬雄《自序》的第一手材料。"持《汉书》论"之外,《文选》李善注所引《七略》中记载的扬雄辞赋作年,与《汉书》的纪和传均有明显不同。目前学界对于《七略》的有关记载采取相对忽视或简单否定的态度。本文结合汉成帝时郊祀制度变迁的舆论背景、"预先献赋"的文学传统以及扬雄本人"归蜀葬子"的活动,论证《七略》的记载更为合理。扬雄四赋的作年,应该为永始三年(前14)完成《甘泉赋》《河东赋》《羽猎赋》;绥和元年(前8)完成《长杨赋》。
