Textbook "Fundamentals of Nursing" in China and the United States:a Comparison of Quality

Objective To compare the textbook "Fundamentals of Nursing" between china and the united states,so as to iprove the quality of chinese nursing textbooks.Methods Comparative was made between the textbooks in the 2 countries.The related literatures were reviewed and the related theories were summarized.Results The nursing textbooks in the united states had a newer content and could reflect the reality of the society;they also expanded the role of each medical area and made the contents more scientific.Chinese textbooks focused more on the contents combination and the US textbooks focused more on constitution of the textbooks.Conclusion The nursing textbooks in the 2 countries had their own characteristics.The US textbooks are more comprehensive in some area,which should be learned by our textbooks.
