中美工业制成品产业内贸易的实证研究

【摘要】:中国和美国是全球最大的两个经济体,双方之间的贸易不但是各自发展本国经济的强劲动力,对世界经济的发展也起着重要的作用。在不断变化的世界经济环境与中国改革开放的大背景下,外贸结构的改善使得中美之间的贸易模式也发生了变化,工业制成品已成为中美双边贸易中最重要的产品,因产业内贸易又是工业制成品贸易的重要内容,因此对中美两国之间工业制成品产业内贸易的全面、深入分析对进一步发展中美双边贸易有一定的参考价值。本文采用的是理论研究与实证分析相互结合的方式。首先,阐明产业内贸易相关理论及其计量指标;其次,分析中美工业制成品产业内贸易发展现状,采用G-L指数测度其水平,并通过加权平均法得到中美工业制成品总体产业内贸易水平,与其他修正指数等进行对比分析,采用GHM指数的划分方法,确定两国的产业内贸易类型;然后,在参考以往研究成果的基础上,将中美人均GDP差距、中国研发水平、中国实际利用美国外资、中国工业规模经济、贸易不平衡等5个变量纳入回归模型,分析对中美工业制成品总体产业内贸易水平的影响。最后针对现状与实证分析的结果,提出深入发展中美两国工业制成品产业内贸易的应对措施。本文结论:加权法测度的中美两国工业制成品产业内贸易水平偏低,但从修正的G-L指数与阿奎诺指数值来看,中美工业制成品表现出较高产业内贸易特征,GHM指数值则表明中美之间是垂直型的产业内贸易,实证结果表明:中国实际利用美国外商直接投资对中美工业制成品产业内贸易影响不显著,中美人均收入差距、中国研发水平对其存在正效应,中美贸易不平衡、中国工业规模经济则对其存在负效应。
[Abstract]:China and the United States are the two largest economies in the world, and trade between them is not only the driving force behind their own economies, It also plays an important role in the development of the world economy. Under the background of the ever-changing world economic environment and China's reform and opening up, the improvement of the foreign trade structure has also changed the trade pattern between China and the United States. Manufactured goods have become the most important products in the bilateral trade between China and the United States. Since intra-industry trade is also an important part of trade in manufactured goods, the intra-industry trade in manufactured goods between China and the United States is comprehensive. The in-depth analysis has certain reference value for the further development of bilateral trade between China and the United States. This paper adopts a combination of theoretical research and empirical analysis. First, it clarifies the intra-industry trade related theory and its measurement index; secondly, This paper analyzes the present situation of intra-industry trade in manufactured goods between China and the United States, measures its level with G-L index, and obtains the overall intra-industry trade level of manufactured goods between China and the United States by weighted average method, and makes a comparative analysis with other revised indices. The classification method of GHM index is used to determine the type of intra-industry trade between the two countries. Then, based on the previous research results, the gap between China and the United States per capita GDP, the level of China's R & D, China's actual utilization of US foreign investment, and China's industrial economies of scale are discussed. Five variables, such as trade imbalance, are incorporated into the regression model to analyze the impact on the overall intra-industry trade level of manufactured goods between China and the United States. This paper concludes that the intra-industry trade level of manufactured goods between China and the United States measured by weighted method is on the low side, but in terms of the revised G-L index and Aquino index, Sino-American manufactured products show higher intra-industry trade characteristics. The GHM index value indicates that the intra-industry trade between China and the United States is vertical. The empirical results show that China's actual use of US foreign direct investment has no significant impact on intra-industry trade in manufactured goods between China and the United States, the gap in per capita income between China and the United States, the positive effect of China's R & D level on it, and the trade imbalance between China and the United States. China's industrial scale economy has a negative effect on it.
