《在中国构建信息技术产业》汉译实践报告

　　这是一份根据桂林市政府数字传播与文化软实力研究中心与广西师范大学的英译中合作项目而写的翻译实践报告,笔者的任务是翻译源文本。随着信息科技的迅速发展,各国计算机产业发展不平衡,中国作为一个大国,综合国力不断提高,计算机产业发展迅速,国际地位日益上升,这难免引起计算机产业大国美国的忧虑。计算机产业领域的翻译具有一定的战略意义,值得学术界更多的关注。基于此,笔者选取了一份文本——《在中国构建信息技术产业》(题目原题为Building an Information Industry in China,出自美国战略与国际研究中心)。该文本主要为特定历史背景下美国对中国计算机产业的认知,对中国计算机产业状况与政策的观点与态度,以及对中国计算机实力的评估。本次翻译实践报告主要分为两部分,第一部分是报告主体,笔者对所选文本的文本特点和译文进行分析;第二部分是附录的翻译材料及其译文,笔者借助纸质词典和网络等翻译工具,对所选文本进行英译汉的翻译。笔者希望通过此次翻译任务,一方面能够提高自身的翻译技能,更好地把握科技信息文本的特点,掌握科技信息文本的翻译方法;另一方面希望笔者的翻译报告能够在某种程度上为相关人员提供参考。
