无机复合造纸填料的合成与性能研究

【摘要】:碳酸钙、高岭土、二氧化钛、滑石粉等是造纸行业中常用的几种填料。填料的使用不仅可以有效降低制造成本,同时可以改善纸张的光学性能、物理性能及书写可适性。二氧化钛是众多造纸填料中性能最好的一种,但因其价格昂贵,限制其使用范围。因此制备以二氧化钛为包覆层、以廉价无机矿物质为内核的复合粉体一直以来都是研究人员追求的目标。本文采用碳酸化法制备以CaCO3为沉淀层的高岭土-碳酸钙(Kaolin-CaCO3);以Ti02为包覆层的高岭土-二氧化钛(Kaolin-TiO2);以CaCO3为内核,Ti(SO4)2为钛源,尿素为沉淀剂,制备具有核壳结构的碳酸钙@二氧化钛(CaCO3@TiO2)。并通过XRD、 FESEM、 UV、 FT-IR、 XPS等一系列检测手段加以验证。此外,对三种复合粉体进行浆料Zeta电位、留着率、白度等纸张性能的测试,确定最佳填料配比:Kaolin-CaCO3复合体系中,当Kaolin质量分数介于20~60%时,填料的留着性能,纸张白度值均较好;Kaolin-TiO2复合体系中,当Kaolin质量分数为40%时,填料留着效果最佳,纸张白度良好;对于CaCO3@Ti02复合体系,当CaCO3含量为40%时,填料留着效果与纸张白度均最佳。
[Abstract]:Calcium carbonate, kaolin, titanium dioxide and talc powder are some kinds of fillers commonly used in paper industry. The use of fillers can not only reduce the manufacturing cost, but also improve the optical, physical and writing properties of paper. Titanium dioxide (TIO _ 2) is one of the best fillers for paper making, but its application range is limited because of its high price. Therefore, the preparation of composite powders with titanium dioxide as the coating layer and cheap inorganic minerals as the core has always been the goal pursued by researchers. In this paper, Kaolin calcium carbonate (Kaolin-CaCO3) with CaCO3 as precipitating layer, kaolinite-titanium dioxide (Kaolin-TiO2) with Ti02 as coating layer and CaCO3 as core Ti (SO4) 2 as titanium source and urea as precipitant to prepare core-shell calcium carbonate @ titania (CaCO3@TiO2) were prepared by carbonation method. It is verified by XRD, FESEM, UV, FT-IRand XPS and so on. In addition, the Zeta potential, retention rate, whiteness and other paper properties of the three kinds of composite powders were tested, and the optimum filler ratio was determined. When the mass fraction of Kaolin was between 20 and 60, the retention performance of the filler was determined. In the Kaolin-TiO _ 2 composite system, when the Kaolin content is 40, the packing effect is the best and the paper whiteness is good. For the CaCO3@Ti02 composite system, when the CaCO3 content is 40, the retention effect of the filler and the whiteness of the paper are the best.
