【摘要】:基于掺氧化镁周期极化铌酸锂(MgO:PPLN)晶体的准相位匹配(Quasi phase matched)中红外光学参量振荡器(Optical parametric oscillator,简称OPO)是获得中红外激光的重要方法,其参量振荡过程中产生的中红外激光以及和频红光都具有重大的应用价值,相关研究将对获得宽调谐范围中红外激光及红光激光具备一定的指导意义。理论上,文章从三波互作用耦合波方程(Three waves interaction coupled wave equations)出发,对BPM和QPM的基本原理进行了详细的分析;阐述两种匹配方法的过程,对比其特点;对基于PPLN的OPO的参量振荡过程进行了理论分析,解释了PPLN温度调谐原理。实验研究了808nm侧泵模块Nd:YAG主动调Q脉冲激光器的输出特性,得到连续(CW)情况下最高功率200W以及调Q状态下186W的1064nm激光高功率输出。采用1064nm脉冲激光作为泵浦源抽运中红外OPO系统,调Q频率设置为10kHz,非线性晶体采用MgO:PPLN,三块晶体的极化周期分别为29μm、29.8μm以及30.8μm,调谐方式采用温度调谐(thermal tuning),晶体的温度变化通过温控炉连续调节,该仪器调节精确度为0.1℃,分别获得了波长范围为3.758μm-3.932 μm、 3.438μm-3.648μm以及2.940μm-3.140μm的可调谐中红外激光输出,中红外激光最高输出功率可达10.29W。最后,实验研究了光参量振荡过程中产生的近红外光与1064nm光的和频红光。在泵浦电流不变情况下,通过改变温控炉温度控制非线性晶体的温度连续调节,获得了波长范围分别为615.2nm-619.2nm、622.4nm-628.8nm以及640.4nm-649.3nm红光激光可调谐输出,获得了最高功率为1.68W的红光输出。
[Abstract]:Quasi phase matched Mid-infrared Optical Parametric oscillator based on MgO-doped periodically polarized Lithium niobate: MgO: PPLN (Quasi-Quasi phase matched) Crystal. Optical parametric oscillator. OPO is an important method to obtain the mid-infrared laser. The mid-infrared laser and the sum-frequency red light produced in the process of parametric oscillation have great application value. The related research will have certain guiding significance for obtaining the infrared laser and the red laser in the wide tuning range. This paper starts from the three waves interaction coupled wave equationsof the three wave interaction coupled wave equation. The basic principles of BPM and QPM are analyzed in detail. The process of the two matching methods is described and the characteristics of the two matching methods are compared. The parametric oscillation process of OPO based on PPLN is theoretically analyzed. The principle of PPLN temperature tuning is explained and the output characteristics of 808nm side pump module Nd:YAG active Q-switched pulse laser are experimentally studied. Continuous CW). The high power output of 1064nm laser with the maximum power of 200W and the Q-switched state of 186W is obtained. The 1064nm pulsed laser is used as the pump source to pump the mid-infrared OPO system.
