W波段宽带模式变换器研究

【摘要】:回旋行波管具有宽频带、高功率、高增益、高效率等优点,在通信、雷达、电子战方面应用前景广泛,备受国内外学者的关注。但是,回旋行波管的工作模式通常为TE0n模式,不适合远距离传输和直接应用,必须将其转换成单一线极化的HE11模式或者高斯波束。在宽频带下,实现这一转换是推进毫米波回旋放大器应用的重要技术前提。本论文针对基于反射式金属光栅结构的宽带大功率模式变换器开展了深入的理论和实验研究。主要工作内容如下:1.开展了平面周期结构的模匹配理论研究,推导出反射式金属光栅的端面模匹配方程,编制了相应的光栅特性参数分析程序。并利用电磁仿真软件,对编制的数值分析程序进行仿真验证。2.利用编制的数值计算程序,对反射式矩形光栅的色散特性开展研究。推导出TE01模极化扭转光栅曲线分布方程,完成W波段圆波导TE01模极化扭转光栅设计。仿真计算结果表明85GHz到105GHz频带范围内,经极化扭转光栅后,波束线极化纯度高于97%。3.开展相位修正技术研究,详细推导了相位修正反射镜的Katsenelenbaum Semenov算法(KSA),设计了相应的相位修正镜面,并对W波段宽带TE01-HE11模式变换器进行了整体仿真。计算结果表明:在85GHz-105GHz内(相对带宽范围为21.2%),输出HE11模标量模式纯度均大于95%,矢量模式纯度大于92%。其中在98GHz模式纯度最高,最高标量纯度为97.9%,最高矢量纯度97.28%。4.配合实验研究的需求,研制了W波段宽带TE01模激励器。搭建了相应的测试平台,完成了宽带模式变换器的实验研究。实验结果表明:在85GHz-105GHz的范围内(相对带宽范围为21.2%),宽带模式变换器输出波束HE11模标量纯度均大于95%,其中在98GHz时,输出波束的HE11模式标量纯度达到97.67%。在90GHz-100GHz的范围内(相对带宽为10.6%),总转换效率高于86%。
[Abstract]:Gyrotron TWT has the advantages of wide band, high power, high gain and high efficiency. It has a wide application prospect in communication, radar and electronic warfare, and has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad. However, the working mode of gyrotron is usually TE0n mode, which is not suitable for long distance transmission and direct application. It must be converted into single line polarized HE11 mode or Gao Si beam. This conversion is an important technical prerequisite for the application of millimeter wave cyclotron amplifier in wide band. In this paper, a deep theoretical and experimental study on wideband high power mode converter based on reflective metal grating structure is carried out. The main work is as follows: 1. In this paper, the mode matching theory of planar periodic structure is studied, and the equation of end-face mode matching of reflective metal grating is deduced, and the corresponding program for analyzing the characteristic parameters of the grating is compiled. And using electromagnetic simulation software, the numerical analysis program compiled by simulation. 2. 2. The dispersion characteristics of reflective rectangular grating are studied by using the numerical calculation program. The curve distribution equation of TE01 mode polarization torsion grating is deduced and the W band circular waveguide TE01 mode polarization torsion grating is designed. The simulation results show that in the range of 85GHz to 105GHz, the polarization purity of the beam line is higher than 97. 3 after the polarization torsion grating. The phase correction technique is studied, the Katsenelenbaum Semenov algorithm of the phase correction mirror is deduced in detail, the corresponding phase correction mirror is designed, and the W-Band broadband TE01-HE11 mode converter is simulated as a whole. The results show that in 85GHz-105GHz (relative bandwidth range is 21.2g), the purity of scalar mode of output HE11 is greater than 95, and the purity of vector mode is greater than 922. Among them, the purity of 98GHz is the highest, the highest purity of scalar is 97.99.The highest purity of vector is 97.28.4. A W band wide band TE01 mode exciter is developed to meet the needs of experimental research. The corresponding test platform is built, and the experimental research of broadband mode converter is completed. The experimental results show that in the range of 85GHz-105GHz (relative bandwidth is 21.2g), the HE11 mode scalar purity of the output beam of the wideband mode converter is greater than 95. In the case of 98GHz, the purity of the HE11 mode scalar of the output beam reaches 97.67. In the range of 90GHz-100GHz (relative bandwidth is 10.6), the total conversion efficiency is higher than 86.
