高重频端面泵浦主振荡功率放大器研究

【摘要】:本论文设计并搭建了一台高重频端面泵浦主振荡功率放大器,通过理论和实验对主振荡功率放大器特性进行研究,实现了50kHz,86.6W的1.06μm近基模输出。论文首先对连续和脉冲下的LD端面泵浦主振荡功率放大器在连续和脉冲下进行理论推导,得出泵浦光斑大小和基模光斑大小的最佳比值,以及1.06μm连续和脉冲下输出功率和泵浦功率的关系;通过放大功率与提取效率的关系,得出了高功率种子源激光能够有效的提高放大器中的提取效效率。基于上述理论,搭建了一台LD端面泵浦Nd:YVO4晶体主振荡功率放大激光器。通过对整机结构设计,最终得到了27.3W的调Q基频光输出,脉宽19.01ns。经过四级放大后,实现了99W的连续输出以及86.6W的脉冲激光输出。通过增益导引效应,合理解释了放大级光束质量先恶化后改善的现象。
[Abstract]:In this paper, a high-repetition-frequency end-pumped main oscillation power amplifier is designed and built. The characteristics of the main oscillation power amplifier are studied theoretically and experimentally, and a 1.06um near-fundamental mode output of 50kHz and 86.6W is realized. Firstly, the theoretical derivation of the LD end-pumped main oscillation power amplifier under continuous and pulse conditions is carried out, and the optimum ratio of pump spot size to fundamental mode spot size is obtained. And the relationship between the output power and pump power of 1.06渭 m continuous and pulse. Through the relationship between the amplification power and the extraction efficiency, it is concluded that the high power seed laser can effectively improve the extraction efficiency in the amplifier. Based on the above-mentioned theory, a LD end-pumped Nd:YVO4 crystal master oscillation power amplifier laser is constructed. A 27.3W Q-switched fundamental frequency optical output with a pulse width of 19.01ns was obtained through the design of the whole machine structure. After four-stage amplification, 99W continuous output and 86.6W pulse laser output are realized. Through the gain guidance effect, the phenomenon that the beam quality of the magnifying stage worsens first and then improves is explained reasonably.
