[Abstract]:In order to study the differences of microstructure of different soft and hard coals, taking Wangzhuang Coal Mine, Lu'an, Shanxi Province as the engineering background, the surface morphology characteristics of six different soft and hard coal samples were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The pore structure characteristics of soft and hard coal were studied by low temperature liquid nitrogen adsorption method. The differences of microstructure of coal samples with different metamorphism degrees were compared and analyzed. The results show that structural deformation has a significant effect on the surface structure of soft coal. Soft coal has more rough surface and more complex surface pore structure than the corresponding hard coal, the coalification has significant difference on pore structure, and the pore size of coal becomes smaller with the increase of metamorphic degree. The total specific surface area of pores increases with the deepening of coalification. The proportion of specific surface area of micropores in all coal samples exceeds 60. The specific surface area is mainly contributed by micropores, and the average pore size of soft coal is always smaller than that of corresponding hard coal. The pore specific surface area is always larger than the corresponding hard coal, and the structural deformation makes the coal structure more complex, and the structural soft coal has the characteristics of advanced evolution.
