星型AM-AMPS共聚物对水基钻井液流变性和滤失量的影响

【摘要】:水基钻井液在高温下流变性不稳定,滤失量大大增加。目前国内外传统的方法都是采用线型的水溶性改性天然聚合物或者合成的聚合物来控制水基钻井液的高温流变性和滤失量。这些线型聚合物处理剂要么在高温下发生热降解;要么在高温下可以控制钻井液的滤失量,但又会导致钻井液体系的黏度过大,高温作用下流变性的稳定和滤失量控制是目前高温水基钻井液仍未解决的技术难题。星型聚合物是由多个线型支链依靠化学键连接至同一个中心支点或核上所形成的支化聚合物。与相同分子量的线型聚合物相比,星型聚合物具有更低的本体和溶液黏度,同时星型聚合物具有更好的热稳定性和溶解性。本文开展了星型丙烯酰胺和2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸共聚物对水基钻井液流变性和滤失量的影响。主要研究内容如下:(1)合成了三种不同分子量的星型共聚物并对其进行表征制取了苯乙烯(St)和马来酸酐(MAH)的交替共聚物Poly(St-alt-MAH)作为侧基,合成水溶性的多官能度大分子引发剂;然后多官能度大分子引发剂激发丙烯酰胺(AM)和功能性单体2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸(AMPS)的水溶液共聚合,制备了三种不同分子量的中心为Poly(St-alt-MAH),支链为丙烯酰胺和2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸共聚物Poly(AM-co-AMPS)的星型结构共聚物S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS),并对其进行表征。实验发现S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)的热稳定性随分子量的增加而加强。(2)探究不同分子量、不同结构的聚合物对水基钻井液流变性的影响采用宾汉模式和幂律模式探究不同分子量的S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)在不同浓度条件下,对水基钻井液老化前后流变特性的影响;合成了相同分子量的线型丙烯酰胺和2-丙烯酰胺基-2-甲基丙磺酸共聚物L-Poly(AM-co-AMPS),与S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)作对比,采用ZNN-D6六速旋转黏度计和Fann 50 SL高温高压流变仪两种测试方法研究了具有不同结构的聚合物对水基钻井液流变特性的影响。实验发现浓度为0.3%、分子量为2000万的S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)维持高温条件下钻井液稳定的能力更强。(3)探究不同分子量、不同结构的聚合物对水基钻井液滤失量的影响与相同分子量的L-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)作对比,研究了S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)在不同浓度条件下,对水基钻井液老化前后API滤失量和HTHP滤失量的影响。实验发现分子量为2000万、浓度为0.3%的S-Poly(AM-co-AMPS)对钻井液的降滤失作用效果显著。
[Abstract]:The rheological behavior of water-based drilling fluid is unstable at high temperature, and the filtration loss is greatly increased. At present, the traditional methods at home and abroad are to control the high temperature rheology and filtration of water-based drilling fluid by using linear water-soluble modified natural polymer or synthetic polymer. These linear polymer treatment agents are either thermally degraded at high temperatures or can control fluid filtration at high temperatures, but can lead to excessive viscosity in the drilling fluid system. The stability of rheology and the control of fluid loss under high temperature are still unsolved technical problems of high temperature water-based drilling fluid. Star polymer is a branched polymer formed by several linear branched chains connected to the same central fulcrum or nucleus by chemical bond. Compared with linear polymers with the same molecular weight, star polymers have lower bulk and solution viscosity, and star polymers have better thermal stability and solubility. The effects of star-shaped acrylamide and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid copolymers on the rheological properties and filtration loss of water-based drilling fluids were studied in this paper. The main research contents are as follows: (1) three star copolymers with different molecular weights were synthesized and characterized. The alternative copolymers of styrene (St) and maleic anhydride (MAHH) were synthesized as side groups to synthesize water-soluble multifunctional macromolecular initiators. Then the polyfunctional macromolecular initiator activates the aqueous solution copolymerization of acrylamide (AM) and the functional monomer 2-acrylamide (2-methylpropyl) sulfonic acid (AMPS). Three star structure copolymers, S-PolyAM-co-AMPS-, with different molecular weights, were prepared and characterized, with a branch chain of acrylamide and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid copolymer (Polyacrylamide-co-AMPS-). It was found that the thermal stability of S-PolyAM-co-AMPS) was enhanced with the increase of molecular weight. Effects of Polymer with different structure on Rheological Properties of Water-based drilling fluid the effects of different molecular weight S-PolyAM-co-AMPS) on the rheological properties of water-based drilling fluid before and after aging were investigated by Bingham model and power law model. Linear acrylamide and 2-acrylamide 2-methylpropanesulfonic acid copolymers with the same molecular weight were synthesized and compared with S-PolyAM-co-AMPSs. The effects of polymers with different structures on the rheological properties of water-based drilling fluids were studied by using ZNN-D6 six-speed rotary viscometer and Fann 50SL high temperature and high pressure rheometer. It was found that S-PolyAM-co-AMPS with a concentration of 0.3 and a molecular weight of 20 million had stronger ability to maintain the stability of drilling fluid at high temperature.) the effects of polymer with different molecular weight and structure on filtration loss of water-based drilling fluid were compared with L-PolyAM-co-AMPSwith the same molecular weight. The effects of S-PolyAM-co-AMPS on the filtration of API and HTHP before and after aging of water-based drilling fluid under different concentrations were studied. It was found that S-PolyAM-co-AMPS with a molecular weight of 20 million and a concentration of 0.3% had a remarkable effect on the filtration loss of drilling fluid.
