[Abstract]:Carboniferous outcrop and drilling data in Qaidam Basin reveal that it is marine sedimentary source rock and Carboniferous shale gas shows a good exploration prospect. The sedimentary environment, organic matter abundance, type and evolution degree of Carboniferous shale in eastern Qaidam Basin were comprehensively evaluated. The residual and distribution of Carboniferous were confirmed by field outcrop, exploration well, earthquake and non-seismic data. The study shows that the Carboniferous shale in the eastern Qaidong area is mainly concentrated in the Kruke formation of the upper Carboniferous shoreline tidal flat. Two hydrocarbon source rocks, carbonaceous shale and dark mudstone, are developed. The organic carbon mean value is 3.08 and the organic matter type is type 鈪,
