脉冲星射电辐射轮廓研究

【摘要】:脉冲星是宇宙中最神奇的天体,它的物理本质、辐射机制等问题几十年来都没有完全解决。脉冲星是相当弱的射电源,但凭借其精准的周期性,可将单个的脉冲按周期进行叠加,从而便得到一个稳定的积分轮廓,通常被称为脉冲轮廓。脉冲轮廓是脉冲星的直接观测量之一,呈现出单峰、双峰、三峰以及多峰等形态。人们建立了多种不同的射电辐射束的模型来解释不同轮廓出现的原因,如核锥模型能够形象解释简单的单峰、双峰及三峰轮廓的形成原因,但是这种模型却不能解释形状不对称、复杂的多峰轮廓,于是人们提出补丁模型来进行解释,当视线扫过多个排列不规则的补丁状辐射束时便会产生复杂而多峰的脉冲轮廓。 本论文围绕着脉冲星射电脉冲轮廓开展了两项工作:一是验证脉冲星射电脉冲轮廓中核锥成份宽度之间的关系;二是验证脉冲星射电辐射束半径与脉冲周期之间的关系。 ●验证脉冲星射电脉冲轮廓中各种成份之间宽度的关系。前人基于核锥模型得出的结论是锥成份宽度为核成份宽度的0.7倍。为了验证这一经验关系,我们收集并整理了33颗核、锥成份非常明显的脉冲星。对这些脉冲星的积分轮廓进行高斯拟合,分离出各个子成份,从而计算出核、锥成份的宽度及误差。然后分别分析三峰和五峰脉冲星的核锥成份、所有这些核锥脉冲星的核和锥成份之间的关系。我们发现核锥脉冲星其核和锥成份的宽度并不存在前人总结的0.7倍的关系。 ●验证脉冲星射电辐射束半径与脉冲周期之间的关系。前人做了不少相关的工作,得出不同的结论,或ρ∞P1/2或ρ∞P1/3。脉冲星的辐射束半径是不可观测量,但这个量与脉冲宽度、磁倾角、撞击角之间存在着一定的几何关系。前人多是假设磁倾角为90°而得出统计关系,我们收集了最新的数据,在400MHz频率段整理出40个核锥脉冲星数据,在1400MHz附近有52个数据,分别设定磁倾角的值为30°、45°、60°及90°脉冲宽度则选取W10、W50、Wpp。三种特征值来检验前人的关系,我们发现脉冲辐射束半径ρ与脉冲周间的分布下限关系更倾向于是ρ∞P1
[Abstract]:Pulsars are the most magical objects in the universe. Their physical nature and radiation mechanism have not been completely solved for decades. Pulsars are rather weak radio sources, but with their precise periodicity, A stable integral profile can be obtained by stacking a single pulse according to the period, which is usually called the pulse contour. The pulse contour is one of the direct observations of the pulsar, showing a single peak and two peaks. Different radio radiation beam models have been established to explain the causes of different contours, such as the nuclear cone model, which can explain the formation of simple single peak, double peak and three peak contours. However, this model can not explain the asymmetric shape and complex multi-peak profile, so a patch model is proposed to explain it. When the line of sight scans many irregularly arranged patch-like radiation beams, complex and multi-peak pulse profiles will be generated. In this paper, two works are carried out around the profile of the pulsar radio pulse: one is to verify the relationship between the width of the nuclear cone in the profile of the pulsar radio pulse, and the other is to verify the relationship between the radii of the pulsar radio radiation beam and the pulse period. In order to verify the relationship between the width of various components in the profile of the pulsar radio pulse, the previous conclusion based on the nuclear cone model is that the width of the cone component is 0.7 times the width of the nuclear component. We collected and sorted out 33 pulsars with very obvious cones. We fitted the integral profiles of these pulsars by Gao Si, separated the sub-components, and calculated the nuclei. The width and error of cone components. Then the nuclear cone components of three-peak and five-peak pulsars are analyzed respectively. We find that the width of nuclear and cone components of nuclear cone pulsars does not exist the relationship of 0.7 times as previously summarized.
