自动识别发射线恒星光谱的新方法

【摘要】:恒星光谱一般具有明显的吸收线或者吸收带特征,而具有发射线的恒星光谱对应着特殊类型的恒星,如激变变星、Herbig Ae/Be等。对这些光谱的后续研究有着重要的意义。本文提出了一种能够自动识别发射线恒星光谱的方法。该方法首先对光谱进行连续谱归一化,然后通过比较谱线对应的流量及其邻域流量的均值和标准差,来判断是否存在发射线。对SDSS DR8大样本数据的实验表明,该方法能够完整、准确地识别发射线恒星。而且,由于该方法不涉及复杂的变换和运算,因而识别速度非常快,可用于诸如LAMOST和SDSS这样大型光谱巡天项目中发现发射线恒星光谱。
[Abstract]:The spectra of stars usually have obvious absorption lines or absorption bands, while the spectra of stars with emission lines correspond to special types of stars, such as the cataclysmic star Herbig Ae/Be and so on. The follow-up study of these spectra is of great significance. In this paper, a method for automatically recognizing the spectrum of emission line stars is presented. In this method, the spectrum is normalized by continuous spectrum, and then the emission line is judged by comparing the mean and standard deviation of the corresponding flux and its adjacent flux. Experiments on large sample data of SDSS DR8 show that the proposed method can recognize the stars of emission line completely and accurately. Moreover, because the method does not involve complex transformations and operations, the recognition speed is very fast, so it can be used to find the emission line star spectrum in large-scale spectral survey projects such as LAMOST and SDSS.
