Birkhoff Theorem, as in 搂6.5, Schwartz was able to quickly find the first exact solution to the vacuum Einstein equation because he skilfully took advantage of the symmetry of the problem itself-stars are spherical symmetry. It's static again. However, no star is permanent, and like a human being, it has to go through many stages of evolution, such as life, old age, sickness, death, and stars are not static in many stages. Can the space-time geometry outside the star be described by Swarthy's vacuum line element (8-7-1)? If this question were to be raised with Schwarzenegger, I am afraid
