基于暗物质直接探测实验的WIMP参数限定

【摘要】:本文从介绍星系团中暗物质的发现开始,指出非重子暗物质构成整个宇宙中暗物质的主要部分,,在几种暗物质模型中,超对称理论所提出的WIMP候选者中性微子,成为现在暗物质直接探测实验最为关注的模型之一。在基于对中性微子参数的实验计算中,包含了探测器本身的技术原因的限定,即能量探测效率、探测阈值、能量分辨率以及本底处理方法,也包含了宇宙学参数及模型的不确定性。在较详细地计算分析了这些因素对于暗物质直接探测结果的影响之后,又在假定各实验组本底分析无误的前提下,给出了依据实验结果对WIMP参数进行计算的具体方法,指出现在普遍采用的简化的计算方法带有主观性后,本文最后的章节从WIMP-靶核与自旋无关及与自旋相关的不同作用方式来分类,详细给出了更为一般地与作用模型无关的WIMP-核子耦合系数的计算方法。并使用这一方法,重新分析了现有直接探测实验间宣布的相互冲突的WIMP参数结果,得出结论:在自旋无关的作用下,并无法调和现有的探测结果间的矛盾,而在自旋相关的作用模式下,可以完全排除直接探测实验所宣布的疑似暗物质信号。因此,尚无确凿证据表明直接探测实验已发现了暗物质存在的证据。本文所给出的关于WIMP参数的具体计算方法,在被用于直接探测实验间结果的比较上避免了对作用模型的人为限制。
[Abstract]:Starting with the discovery of dark matter in galaxy clusters, this paper points out that non-baryonic dark matter constitutes the main part of dark matter in the whole universe. In several dark matter models, the WIMP candidate neutral neutrino proposed by supersymmetry theory, It has become one of the most concerned models in the direct detection experiment of dark matter. In the experimental calculation based on neutral neutrino parameters, the technical reasons of the detector itself are defined, that is, energy detection efficiency, detection threshold, energy resolution and background processing method. The uncertainties of cosmological parameters and models are also included. After more detailed calculation and analysis of the influence of these factors on the results of direct detection of dark matter, and assuming that the background analysis of each experimental group is correct, the concrete method for calculating the WIMP parameters according to the experimental results is given. After pointing out that the simplified calculation method is subjective, the final chapter of this paper classifies the WIMP- target nuclei from different spin-independent and spin-dependent modes of action. The calculation method of the coupling coefficient of WIMP- nucleon, which is more generally independent of the interaction model, is given in detail. By using this method, the results of conflicting WIMP parameters announced between the existing direct detection experiments are re-analyzed, and the conclusion is drawn: under the spin-independent action, the contradiction between the existing detection results cannot be reconciled. In the spin-dependent mode of action, the suspected dark matter signals announced by the direct detection experiment can be completely excluded. Therefore, there is no conclusive evidence that direct detection experiments have found evidence of the existence of dark matter. The concrete calculation method of WIMP parameters given in this paper avoids the artificial restriction on the interaction model in the comparison of the results obtained from the direct detection experiments.
