多芯光纤的特性及其应用研究

【摘要】:光纤通信技术作为第三次技术革命中最重要的技术之一,近30年来在全球范围内得到了广泛的使用。随着时分复用(TDM)、波分复用(WDM)、偏振复用(PDM)、多级调制(multi-level modulation)技术及相关器件的日趋完善,光纤通信技术得到了长足的发展,深刻改变了人类的生活和工作方式。 本文从光纤出发,阐述和探究了光纤通信系统的发展历程,了解了研究人员在不断提高光纤传输容量上取得的突破。在充分肯定这些成就的同时,也指出了目前光纤所面临的瓶颈:其容量已逐渐逼近理论上限,信息传输速率难以得到进一步提高。为了进一步提高光纤的传输容量,我们着重研究了在近年来引起广泛重视的多芯光纤。 本文以沟槽辅助型七芯光纤为研究对象,对光纤的弯曲损耗和纤芯之间的能量串扰做了详尽的理论分析,通过数值计算着重讨论了沟槽辅助结构对光纤截止波长、弯曲损耗、色散等传输性能指标的影响及其对纤芯之间能量串扰的影响。利用计算结果指导设计满足截止波长和色散标准的低弯曲损耗、低串扰、高纤芯密度的多芯光纤,分析了多芯光纤在纤芯密度上的显著优势,为多芯光纤投入实际应用提供了理论上的帮助。
[Abstract]:Optical fiber communication technology is one of the most important technologies in the third technological revolution. In the past 30 years, it has been widely used in the world. With the development of TDM, WDM, PDM, multi-level modulations and related devices, optical fiber communication technology has made great progress. A profound change in the way people live and work. In this paper, the development course of optical fiber communication system is expounded and explored, and the breakthrough made by researchers in increasing the transmission capacity of optical fiber is understood. At the same time, these achievements are fully affirmed. It is pointed out that the capacity of optical fiber is approaching the theoretical upper limit gradually, and the information transmission rate is difficult to be further improved. In order to further improve the transmission capacity of optical fiber, We focus on the research of multi-core fiber which has attracted much attention in recent years. In this paper, the groove-assisted seven-core fiber is taken as the research object, the bending loss and the energy crosstalk between the fibers are analyzed in detail, and the cutoff wavelength and the bending loss of the groove-assisted structure to the fiber are discussed by numerical calculation. The influence of dispersion and other transmission performance index and its influence on the energy crosstalk between fiber cores. The low bending loss, low crosstalk and high core density multi-core fiber with low bending loss, low crosstalk and high core density are designed according to the calculation results, which meet the cut-off wavelength and dispersion standard. The advantages of multi-core fiber in core density are analyzed, which provides theoretical help for practical application of multi-core fiber.
