异构网中小区选择及CoMP技术的研究

【摘要】:随着人们日益增长的数据传输需求,传统的同构网架构已经逐渐暴露出自己的弱点,3GPP会议于2009年9月正式将异构网的研究提上日程。由于异构网中新加入的低功率节点的发射功率及天线高度相对于宏基站都很低,所以其覆盖范围过小、服务用户过少,不能实现预期的功能,因此改进的小区选择算法成为研究目标。为了实现提高低功率节点被UE选择的优先级、扩大低功率节点覆盖范围的目的,会议经过讨论并由高通公司提出了RE算法。为了克服RE算法自身的两个缺点,本文提出了两种改进的异构网小区选择算法并对这三种算法的性能进行了仿真对比,仿真结果表明改进后的小区选择算法可以有效克服RE算法的两个缺点并略微提升系统性能。由于异构网中新加入的Pico站可以看做是小型的宏基站,这相当于给原有系统引入了许多的干扰源并产生了很多小区边缘。为了消除干扰并改善这些小区边缘的用户性能,本文提出了两种CoMP在异构网中的应用方案,并对方案性能进行了仿真对比。结果表明异构网中加入CoMP后确实可以提高用户吞吐量并改善全网的性能。
[Abstract]:With the increasing demand for data transmission, the traditional isomorphic network architecture has gradually exposed its weaknesses. In September 2009, the research of heterogeneous networks was formally put on the agenda of the 3GPP conference. Because the transmission power and antenna height of the newly added low power nodes in heterogeneous networks are very low compared with the Acer stations, the coverage is too small and the service users are too few to achieve the expected functions. Therefore, the improved cell selection algorithm becomes the research goal. In order to improve the priority of low power nodes selected by UE and expand the coverage of low power nodes, the RE algorithm was discussed and proposed by Qualcomm. In order to overcome the two shortcomings of RE algorithm, two improved cell selection algorithms in heterogeneous networks are proposed and the performance of these three algorithms is simulated and compared. Simulation results show that the improved cell selection algorithm can effectively overcome the two shortcomings of RE algorithm and improve the system performance slightly. Because the new Pico stations in heterogeneous networks can be regarded as small macro stations, this is equivalent to introducing a lot of interference sources to the original system and producing a lot of cell edges. In order to eliminate interference and improve the user performance of these cell edges, this paper proposes two applications of CoMP in heterogeneous networks, and compares the performance of the schemes by simulation. The results show that the addition of CoMP in heterogeneous networks can improve the throughput of users and improve the performance of the whole network.
