基于EDCA协议的视频流自适应映射机制

【摘要】：为提高802.11无线局域网中视频传输的质量,802.11工作组引入增强的分布式信道接入协议,但是这个协议没有充分考虑视频数据的特点。在研究该网络协议的基础上,提出一个改进的跨层自适应映射策略。在传输控制的过程中考虑视频包的重要性和当前的网络状态,能提高802.11网络中视频传输的质量。将该算法仿真结果与其它算法进行比较,比较结果表明,该算法在802.11无线局域网中的视频传输质量优于其它算法。
[Abstract]:In order to improve the quality of video transmission in WLAN 802.11, the 802.11 working group introduces an enhanced distributed channel access protocol, but this protocol does not fully consider the characteristics of video data. Based on the research of the network protocol, an improved cross-layer adaptive mapping strategy is proposed. The quality of video transmission in 802.11 network can be improved by considering the importance of video packet and the current network state in the process of transmission control. The simulation results of this algorithm are compared with those of other algorithms. The comparison results show that the video transmission quality of the algorithm is superior to that of other algorithms in WLAN 802.11.
