微环谐振器在光通信滤波中的应用研究

【摘要】:在密集波分复用系统中,对密集信号光进行解复用时,先将信号光分解成信道间隔较大的两组信号,就无需再对现有滤波器进行升级,从而达到降低整个系统成本的目的。完成这一任务的关键器件就是交错滤波器。本文在分析简单的环形滤波器和马赫-泽德(M-Z)干涉仪型滤波器的工作原理的基础上,深入探讨了关键参数对器件的输出特性(振幅大小和相位特性)的影响。根据环形滤波器的相位特性,我们提出了一种嵌入式微环谐振腔。这种器件具有独特的相位特性,研究发现,把这种嵌入式微环谐振腔与M-Z干涉仪相结合可以实现宽带滤波。本文提出了一种由嵌入式环谐振腔和M-Z干涉仪组成的新颖带通滤波器和交错滤波器。本文的主要工作为:理论分析了关键参数对单耦合环和双耦合环输出光谱影响,主要研究了它们的光谱特性和相位特性。并以此结构为基础,设计了结构简单,相位特性独特的嵌入式微环谐振腔,并分析关键参数对嵌入式微环谐振腔输出影响。分析了M-Z干涉仪和微环谐振器辅助M-Z干涉仪滤波器的输出特性。利用耦合模理论推导出加入嵌入式微环谐振腔后M-Z干涉仪滤波器的输出函数,根据输出函数,仿真模拟了这种带有微环辅助M-Z干涉仪滤波器的输出。着重分析了环长,内外环长度比和耦合系数对滤波器的影响。根据输出端的不同,讨论了其在密集型波分复用(DWDM)系统中的应用。文中主要分析了关键参数对该滤波器带宽大小、中心波长、超窄带宽、通带平坦度、旁瓣压低和带宽比等性能的影响。通过设计、优化参数之间的搭配,可以得到性能较好的滤波器。最后仿真实验了实现该器件的具体参数。该研究成果对谐振环辅助M-Z型滤波器的应用具有重要指导意义。
[Abstract]:In dense wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system, when the dense signal light is demultiplexed, the signal light is first decomposed into two groups of signals with large channel intervals, so that the existing filter is not required to be upgraded. In order to reduce the cost of the whole system, the key device to accomplish this task is interleaved filter. This paper analyzes the working principle of simple ring filter and M-Z interferometer filter. The effect of key parameters on the output characteristics (amplitude and phase) of the device is discussed. According to the phase characteristics of the ring filter, an embedded microring resonator is proposed. The study found that, Wideband filtering can be realized by combining this embedded microring resonator with M-Z interferometer. A novel bandpass filter and interleaved filter composed of embedded ring resonator and M-Z interferometer are proposed in this paper. The results are as follows: the influence of key parameters on the output spectra of single and double coupling rings is theoretically analyzed. The spectral and phase characteristics of these resonators are studied. Based on this structure, embedded microring resonators with simple structure and unique phase characteristics are designed. The effect of key parameters on the output of embedded microring resonator is analyzed. The output characteristics of M-Z interferometer and micro-ring resonator auxiliary M-Z interferometer filter are analyzed. The output function of M-Z interferometer filter, According to the output function, the output of the filter with microloop auxiliary M-Z interferometer is simulated. The effects of loop length, internal and external loop length ratio and coupling coefficient on the filter are analyzed. This paper discusses its application in dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) system. The effects of key parameters on the bandwidth, center wavelength, ultra-narrow bandwidth, passband flatness, sidelobe depression and bandwidth ratio of the filter are analyzed. A filter with better performance can be obtained by optimizing the collocation of parameters. Finally, the specific parameters of the device are simulated and tested. The research results have important guiding significance for the application of resonant ring auxiliary M-Z filter.
