现代民族主义的形成及其非理性基础--与方朝晖先生商榷

【摘要】:现代意义的民族和民族主义在中国的出现,并非是源自家族与宗族的自然延伸或扩大,而是以家族和宗族为基础的传统秩序崩溃以后的产物,因为从家族和宗族中脱离出来的个体需要寻求更大更强的集体归属。集体归属、非理性化、神化倾向以及受到挫败后的民族耻辱和民族报复心理是所有民族和民族主义的共同特征,而不是中国或东亚的独有特点和鲜明特征。就民族主义与文化保守主义的关系而言,与其说是“绑架”,不如说是纠缠在一起的孪生兄弟。它们始终都是中西之争和古今之变的产物,并随着中西之争与古今之变的变化而变化。
[Abstract]:The emergence of modern nationality and nationalism in China is not from the natural extension or expansion of the family and clan, but from the collapse of the traditional order based on the family and clan. Because individuals separated from families and clans need to seek greater and stronger collective ownership, collective ownership, irrationality, The common characteristics of all nationalities and nationalism, not the unique and distinctive characteristics of China or East Asia, are the tendency of deification and the national humiliation and national revenge after being defeated. As far as the relationship between nationalism and cultural conservatism is concerned, They are always the product of the dispute between China and the West and the change of the ancient and the modern, and change with the change of the dispute between the East and the West and the change of the ancient and the present.
