论多元文化主义及其对美国社会的影响

【摘要】：20世纪下半叶,美国社会在第三次移民潮和社会运动的冲击下,出现了主张国家内部族群文化多样性以及不同文化群体之间平等与相互尊重的多元文化主义思潮。多元文化主义是社会多元化趋势在理论上的反映,在一定程度上促进了社会宽容度、增加了弱势群体的话语权。另一方面,多元文化主义对差异和平等的过度强调则会削弱国家一体化的融合,对美国的共同文化和政治秩序构成了挑战。
[Abstract]:In the second half of the 20th century, under the impact of the third immigration tide and the social movement, the American society emerged the multiculturalism trend of thought which advocated the cultural diversity of ethnic groups and equality and mutual respect among different cultural groups. Multiculturalism is a reflection of the trend of social pluralism in theory. To a certain extent, it promotes social tolerance and increases the right of speech of vulnerable groups. On the other hand, multiculturalism's emphasis on difference and equality weakens the integration of nations and challenges the common cultural and political order of the United States.
