[Abstract]:While some Western countries have always touted their "freedom of speech" and "openness of public opinion," they often use this as an excuse to criticize "public opinion control" in countries with different ideologies, and even attack the human rights situation in these countries. In the case of the United States, for example, the United States has always touted itself as a model of democracy, with the mass media enjoying full freedom of speech. The first Amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees the freedom of speech of the American people and the media in law. However, in the concrete news practice, the conflict between the freedom of public opinion and the interests of the government often occurs, and the game between the media and the politicians is often produced.
