[Abstract]:On February 12, 2015, leaders of Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia reached an agreement in Minsk on a political solution to Ukraine and a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine. Ahead of the meeting, many European leaders, including the German chancellor and the French president, called on Europe to engage in political negotiations with Russia to make every effort to resolve the Ukraine issue.
