[Abstract]:In March 2011, there was a massive anti-government demonstration in Egypt, and President Mubarak was ousted. Three years later, the Egyptian Spring has become the Egyptian Winter, and the Arab Spring has become the Arab Winter. One is the population explosion. Today, 50% of Egypt's population is under the age of 25, and youth unemployment is severe. Second, poverty. Forty percent of Egypt's population earns less than $2 a day. The population explosion nibbled away at Egypt's limited economic development. Egypt, from food to most daily necessities, depends on imports, and the financial tsunami triggered by the United States led to the devaluation of the Egyptian pound and soaring prices. Third, corruption has permeated every aspect of Egyptian political and social life. Egypt seems to have fallen into the developing world, implanted in Western democracy.
