【摘要】：本文以美国内战前德意志人大量迁移美国的历史背景为切入点，对德意志裔参加内战的经历及其贡献进行分析，同时探讨内战对德意志裔和本土美国人的关系所造成的影响，并指出从长远看来，内战对德意志裔的美国化进程产生了积极影响。引言部分主要介绍了本文的写作缘起、国内外研究现状以及相关概念的界定和说明。正文由以下三部分组成：第一部分，阐述美国内战前德意志人移民美国的原因和特征。文章首先介绍德意志人移民美国的经历，并从经济、政治、文化等角度对其移民原因进行分析。其次归纳出德意志移民在地区来源、阶级构成、居住方式及政治认同方面的特点和趋势。第二部分，详细论述德意志裔参加美国内战的历程。文章主要分析德意志裔参加内战的原因，德裔军官、士兵及妇女为联邦最终赢得胜利所做出的重大贡献。第三部分，探讨了美国内战对德意志裔的影响。一方面，从长远看来，内战对德意志裔的美国化进程产生了积极影响。另一方面，在与美国主流文化的碰撞中，德意志传统文化得以延续。结语部分，对全文进行归纳总结,并对德意志人参加美国内战的经历得出几点看法：（一）德裔大多支持联邦既是基于现实利益的考虑，又是由其本民族文化中的自由民主观念所决定的；（二）德裔士兵因在内战中的良好表现，增进了和本土美国人的关系，，但也不可回避地受到当地人的偏见；（三）德裔移民参加美国内战的经历是与美国主流文化的直接碰撞，德裔继续保持对传统文化的认同，但也主动地融入美国主流社会，成功地适应了美国的环境与文化。
[Abstract]:Based on the historical background of the massive migration of Germans to the United States before the American Civil War, this paper analyzes the experiences and contributions of Germanic Americans in the Civil War, and probes into the impact of the Civil War on the relationship between Germanic Americans and native Americans. It also points out that, in the long run, the Civil War had a positive impact on the process of Germanic Americanization. The introduction mainly introduces the origin of the writing, the current situation of domestic and foreign research, and the definition and explanation of related concepts. The text consists of the following three parts: The first part expounds the reasons and characteristics of the German emigration to the United States before the American Civil War. This paper first introduces the experiences of Germans emigrating to the United States, and analyzes the reasons for their emigration from economic, political and cultural perspectives. Secondly, the characteristics and trends of German immigrants in regional origin, class composition, living style and political identity are summarized. The second part discusses the history of German-American participation in the American Civil War in detail. The article mainly analyzes the reasons why Germans took part in the Civil War, and the great contribution of German officers, soldiers and women to the victory of the Union. The third part discusses the influence of American Civil War on Germanic Americans. On the one hand, in the long run, the Civil War had a positive impact on the process of Germanic Americanization. On the other hand, in the collision with American mainstream culture, German traditional culture can continue. In the conclusion part, I summarize the whole text, and draw a few views on the experience of the Germans in the American Civil War. The majority of Germanics support federal interests on the basis of realistic interests. It is also determined by the concept of liberal democracy in its own culture that German soldiers have improved their relations with native Americans because of their good performance in the civil war. But they are also inevitably prejudiced by the local people. (3) the experience of German immigrants participating in the American Civil War was a direct collision with the mainstream American culture. German Americans continued to maintain their recognition of traditional culture, but they also took the initiative to integrate into the mainstream American society. Successfully adapted to the American environment and culture.
