Czechs’ Perception of China:Media Exposure VS Personal Exper

随着中国崛起成为一个全球性强国,它的软实力也在不断增强。中国与捷克两国之间的文化交流活动越来越多、两国的青年交流生数量不断增多、捷克领导人在中-捷合作中获得了可喜的经济效益,以上一切合作都得益于中-捷两国的友好关系,尽管如此,中国在捷克人眼里依旧处于负面形象。捷克的公众舆论研究中心发现从1997到2017,平均只有18%的捷克人说他们喜欢中国。就像很多西方国家一样,捷克人对中国的负面看法是主流媒体造成的,主流媒体的报道是大多数人看待中国的信息来源。笔者提出并且要回答的三个基本问题有:1)捷克媒体究竟是如何描述中国2)它是否影响以及如何影响捷克人3)是否可以、以及如何通过访问中国改变捷克人先前的看法为了解答最后一个问题,笔者将调查对象分为两组,即有来访中国经验的人和无来访中国经验的人。通过调查问卷将两组人对中国的印象进行比较分析。对此笔者做了以下假设:访问过中国的捷克人较少受到媒体对中国负面报道的影响,访问后对中国的看法发生了积极的变化,且总体上对中国有更正面的看法。调查结果显示,以上三点假设均成立。因此本文的最终结论是:访问中国有助于更好的了解中国,与此同时能够提升对中国的认可度。
