[Abstract]:Esperanto was introduced into China in the early 20 th century, and it was imprinted by elite intellectuals. In the 1920 s, however, Esperanto attracted a considerable number of secondary students to learn Esperanto. The reason for this is that secondary students gradually change from a concept of educational division to a concept of a class, and they are filled with fear and despair about their inability to flow upward. Esperanto gives them an artificial "hope" to help them cross the boundaries of geography and identity and connect with the world and mankind. From the Esperanto perspective, we will be able to see how, in this uncertain era of the 1920s, middle school students choose practical strategies for life and confront a sinking destiny. Thus expand our understanding of the world of spiritual life of ordinary people in this era.
