铁路与新乡城市的兴起(1905-1937)

【摘要】: 新乡地处河南省北部,太行山南麓,卫河上游。南临黄河与郑州、开封隔河相望;北依太行与安阳、鹤壁毗邻;西连煤城焦作,与晋东南接壤;东接濮阳,与鲁西相连,是豫北的经济和交通中心。20世纪之前,新乡只是豫北平原上一个普通小县城。进入20世纪之后,随着道清铁路与京汉铁路相继在新乡过境,新乡开始了自己的城市化进程,逐步由一个封建落后的小县城发展成为豫北地区的交通枢纽和商业中心之一。近代新乡城市的发展相对比缓慢,又历经曲折。本文拟以新乡的城市发展历程为研究对象,以1905年——1937年为主要时段,分析新乡近代城市发展的背景,特点及其制约因素。希望为以后河南省内因铁路的修建而开始城市化进程的其他城市的发展提供参考。本文主要部分为四个部分: 第一部分:回顾新乡的自然地理环境和古代历史沿革及清末新乡县的经济发展状况,对新乡城市发展的背景作简单的介绍,为全文的展开奠定基础。 第二部分:介绍新乡区域性铁路枢纽的形成及由此给新乡地区带来一些列变化。主要包括新乡近代交通业发展、近代工业的出现及发展、近代商业和金融业的发展。通过这些发展情况来说明新乡城市经济状况的改善。 第三部分:新乡城市发展的曲折历程。分析新乡城市变化的方方面面,包括城市规模的扩大和城市设施的完善;人口的变化;卫生、教育、文化事业的发展;生活方式中近代元素的出现及其发展。 第四部分:对新乡城市化进程的特点及其评价。包括新乡城市化的主要特点、铁路在其城市化进程中的作用和新乡城市化的历史作用。
[Abstract]:Xinxiang is located in the north of Henan Province, the southern foot of Taihang Mountain, the upper reaches of the Wei River. It faces the Yellow River to the south and Zhengzhou, across the river from Kaifeng; to the north, Taihang and Anyang, adjacent to Hebi; to Jiaozuo, a coal city in the west, and to the southeast of Shanxi; and to Puyang, to the east, to the west of Shandong, which was the economic and transportation center of northern Henan before the 20th century. Xinxiang is just an ordinary small county town on the north plain of Henan Province. After entering the 20th century, with the crossing of Daqing Railway and Beijing-Han Railway in Xinxiang one after another, Xinxiang began its own urbanization process and gradually developed from a small feudal and backward county into one of the transportation hubs and commercial centers in the northern part of Henan Province. The development of Xinxiang city in modern times was slow and experienced twists and turns. This paper takes the urban development course of Xinxiang as the research object, takes 1905-1937 as the main period, analyzes the background, characteristics and restrictive factors of the modern urban development of Xinxiang. This paper hopes to provide a reference for the development of other cities in Henan Province, which began the urbanization process due to the construction of railway. The main part of this paper is divided into four parts: the first part: review the natural geographical environment of Xinxiang, the history of ancient history and the economic development of Xinxiang county in the late Qing Dynasty, and make a brief introduction to the background of the development of Xinxiang city. Lay the foundation for the full text. The second part introduces the formation of Xinxiang regional railway hub and brings some changes to Xinxiang area. It mainly includes the development of modern transportation in Xinxiang, the emergence and development of modern industry, and the development of modern commerce and finance. Through these developments to explain the economic situation of Xinxiang city to improve. The third part: the tortuous course of Xinxiang city development. This paper analyzes all aspects of the urban changes in Xinxiang, including the expansion of urban scale and the perfection of urban facilities; the change of population; the development of health, education and cultural undertakings; and the emergence and development of modern elements in the lifestyle. Part IV: the characteristics and evaluation of the urbanization process in Xinxiang. Including the main characteristics of Xinxiang urbanization, the role of railway in the process of urbanization and the historical role of Xinxiang urbanization.
