[Abstract]:It is well known that Zhang Jian's establishment of Dasheng Cotton Mill is the opening work of "Father Industry", which plays a very important role in the history of textile industry in modern China and lays a solid foundation for the planning and construction of "the first City of Modern China". Dasheng yarn factory after the establishment of the first face to solve the problem of raw materials. Widespread mobilization of suburban farmers to plant cotton still can not meet the needs of factory production. Zhang Jian has turned his eyes to the encircled reclamation area in northeast Hai'an.
