近代四川官方改良私塾的努力及其成效

【摘要】:中国的现代化进程是近年史学研究的一个热点。官方改良私塾作为教育现代化的一个方面也得到史学研究者的关注。但现有研究多为概述性研究,而缺乏对官方改良私塾政策的复杂性及其具体落实情况作深入探讨,且研究成果多局限于沿海地区的改良私塾。西部地区,具体到四川的改良私塾则未进行系统的梳理和研究,仅在有关四川近代史和教育史等论著中简单提及。本文就拟四川作为考察对象,探讨近代四川官方改良私塾的政策及其具体落实情况,改良所涉及各方对官方政策的态度,以期丰富对官方改良私塾的相关研究。 本文首先分清末、民初、南京国民政府三个时段对近代四川官方改良私塾的政策进行考察,其中不仅关注政策发展变化的一面,,也较为关注政策的延续性。其次具体化四川官方改良私塾的努力,其中包括改良、限制和取缔私塾三个大的方面,此间又重点阐释四川官方改良私塾政策的具体落实情况和取缔私塾过程中官方所取政策的复杂性。 在当时存在部分塾师和塾生父兄与官方对待改良私塾这一政策的不同“认知”。前者对“旧式”私塾抱有一种难以割舍的“情结”,间或有较“开明”的塾师为了生计也不得不迎合塾生父兄对官方改良私塾的政策取反对态度,但塾生父兄对改良私塾的态度随着时间的推移亦有所转变。另一方面,地方办学员绅对官方改良私塾政策的态度也直接关系到政策的落实。 通过四川官方的努力,改良私塾取得了一定的成效,部分私塾被纳入官方统系,但受近代全国时局及四川特殊时势、风气的影响,改良效果不应过于高估。
[Abstract]:The process of modernization in China has been a hot topic in the study of historiography in recent years. As an aspect of educational modernization, the official reform of private schools has also attracted the attention of historians. However, there is a lack of in-depth discussion on the complexity of the policy of official improved private schools and their specific implementation, and most of the research results are limited to the improved private schools in the coastal areas, the western region, and the Sichuan improved private schools, which have not been systematically combed and studied. It is only briefly mentioned in the works on the modern history of Sichuan and the history of education. This article discusses the policy and concrete implementation of the modern Sichuan official improved private school, and the attitudes of all parties involved in the improvement to the official policy. In order to enrich the official improvement of private schools related research. In this paper, the policy of improving private schools in modern Sichuan is investigated in three periods, namely the late Qing Dynasty, the early Republic of China and the Nanjing National Government, which not only pay attention to the policy development and change. More attention is also paid to the continuity of policies. Secondly, the efforts made by the Sichuan authorities to improve private schools include three major aspects: improving, restricting and outlawing private schools. It also explains the implementation of the policy of improving private schools and the complexity of the policies taken by officials in the process of banning private schools. At that time, there were different "perceptions" between some private teachers and their parents and brothers and the government on the policy of improving private schools. The former had an indelible "complex" of "old-style" private schools, and sometimes there were more "enlightened" private teachers in order to live. Ji also had to pander to the opposition of his father and brother to the policy of the government to improve the private school. On the other hand, the attitude of the local students and gentry towards the official policy of improving the private school is also directly related to the implementation of the policy. Through the efforts of Sichuan authorities, the improvement of private schools has made some achievements. Some private schools have been brought into the official system, but due to the situation of modern China and the special situation in Sichuan, the effect of improvement should not be overestimated.
