水上人引水——16-19世纪澳门船民的海洋世界

【摘要】：自16世纪欧洲人涉足华南的洋面开始,澳门及广大珠三角地区的船民,就已经在各个方面被卷入一个全球化的贸易体系之中,他们的日常生活,也因为与外国人频繁接触而有所影响。本文集中讨论16-19世纪间专门为欧美来华贸易船只担任"引水人"的船民的状况,探讨在这个长时段的华洋贸易的过程中,这些在中国社会的格局里往往被视为地位低下的船民,会接触到什么外国的事物,有怎样的交流机会,以及这些经验对本地社会有可能产生什么影响。
[Abstract]:Since the Europeans set foot on the ocean in South China in the 16th century, the boat people in Macao and the Pearl River Delta region have been involved in all aspects of their daily life in a globalized trading system. It is also influenced by frequent contact with foreigners. This paper focuses on the situation of boat people who served as "water pilots" for European and American trade vessels in China in the 1600s, and discusses the process of this long period of Sino-foreign trade. These boat people, often seen as low-ranking boat people in Chinese society, are exposed to foreign things, what opportunities to exchange, and what impact these experiences may have on local society.
