【摘要】：正引言:当"中国"成为问题近年来,伴随着《讲谈社·中国的历史》(十卷本)2与《哈佛中国史》(全六卷)3在中国的热销,"历史热"、"通史热"成为当代中国知识界与出版界的一大热点。在"中国崛起"的历史性时刻,系统回顾与把握"中国文明"的历史脉络与未来走向,形成相对完整的叙事,激发了国内外知识界的巨大兴趣。其中,如何叙述清朝的历史成为一个难点。作为历史上最具统治效力的多民族帝国,清朝缔造出了远超历代中原王朝的"复合文明";
