百余年来,关于“中国往何处去”的不足,一直是时代的中心不足。对这一不足的探讨不同领域的专家学者都进行了深入的探讨,在文化哲学方面大致上可以分为三派：现当代新儒家文化哲学家们更偏重于文化的抽象价值,即认为儒家的道德主体意识可以超越时空,超越不同的社会文化背景来解决人的不足,存在的不足,生命的不足,生活意 义的不足以及人类产生的种种疏离和困惑的诸多不足,给人以安身立命的根据。“他们是从抽象的思想观念出发,最终退缩于宗教性的终极关怀,执迷于道统的研究,因而不是缩短而是夸大了儒家的思想中理想和现实的距离,使儒家的文化价值流于空疏,浮泛之中。”①与之相反,西化派文化哲学家们则坚持对文化典籍的价值持“评判的态度”,否定其历史价值而进一步否定其现实价值,因此,他们从“传统文化不适应现代生活”的理论,反过来又片面夸大传统文化那些体现其封建时代特点的内容和它的负面效应,而没有看到传统文化中也含有超越其时代之普遍性因素。而马克思文化哲学家们极力在扭转“左”的倾向和消解“左”的影响之后,坚持文化价值的有无统一观。他们认识到任何文化价值都是抽象价值与具体价值的统一,抽象文化价值处于具体文化价值之中。唯物史观的综合创新即是这样。“他们不是从观念的文本出发来理解并解释人的实践,而是从历史动力系统去观察文化的自主性和文化价值如何从“无”到“有”,如何将潜存的,无限的抽象文化价值和具体的历史文化价值转化为现实价值,拓展对于原典,本文的解释和释义空间。”②这便是创造性转换,也是唯物史观综合创新文化哲学家们研究的核心。因此,“综合创新”的文化观是客观的,它克服了现当代新儒学文化哲学和西化派文化哲学中夹杂的情绪化,玄虚化弊端。从这种文化价值观出发,文化哲学家们认定未来的中国文化将是中国与世界的,传统与现代化的,科学与人文的有机结合或统一。这三个派别都始于五四新文化运动,在经过了一个世纪的辩诘和博弈,他们在超越中西、古今之争,打通体用、形上之辩方面基本上形成了共识,但在中国未来的指导思想,文化的主体性等方面还存在着重大分歧,这些不足不解决,建设社会主义先进文化必将成为一句空话。衣俊卿曾说过：“文化哲学在21世纪将成为最有影响的哲学范式或哲学形态,要推动中国的文化哲学研究走向深化,就应当在建构中国现代社会的主导性文化思想和转换文化哲学研究范式两个方面下工夫”①本文主要分为三章：第一章是绪论,首先讲述不足的提出,笔者主要是在美国的政治学家亨廷顿的文明冲突论中引发了想要研究文化的冲动,事实证明,中国处于现代化的转型这样一个特殊时期,应如何应对中外与古今的文化矛盾,是我们无法逃避的重要不足。经过百余年的探索,最终发现走中国特色社会主义文化发展道路是最适合中国国情的,只有综合创新的文化哲学思想才是中国的明智之选。第二章是在现代化背景下,在各种西方社会思潮影响下,中国如何应对现代化,再通过中国现代化的两次转型,从中吸取教训,从外部环境和历史经验层面来看中国文化现代化转型。最后一章主要是论述中国文化创新之路的探索和如何运用马克思唯物史观的策略和文化哲学的视角实现中国文化的综合创新之路及综合创新的界定,基础,原则,方向,综合创新的策略在实践中如何应用。本文的创新之处在于尝试在现代化背景下,运用文化哲学的视角和马克思唯物史观的策略来浅析浅析中国未来的主导性文化精神以及中国文化转型应有哪些实践策略。除哲学视角外,本文还运用历史学,社会学等不同的浅析浅析视角。就研究策略讲,本文主要以矛盾浅析浅析法和系统浅析浅析法为主,同时借鉴其他社会科学和自然科学的研究策略,如比较法、案例法、实证法等。
