媒介环境学视域下的数字阅读研究

【摘要】:随着数字媒介技术的发展,传统阅读的历史开始书写新的篇章。阅读,不再与书本、纸张相提并论。在电子屏幕前,阅读演化为人与数字符号之间的互动交流。阅读载体的种种变革,不仅仅改变了书本的样式、形态,改变了人们黄灯古卷前清冷独思的阅读习惯,更改变了由传统纸质阅读衍生而来的阅读者社会行为。本文以媒介环境学的理论框架为论述根基与脉络,通过对480名数字阅读者进行纸质问卷与电子问卷调查、对26位数字阅读者进行深度访谈,从数字阅读主体分布、数字阅读内容与需求偏好、数字阅读媒介选择、数字阅读行为特点、数字阅读环境等五个方面描绘数字阅读的现实图景。在此基础上,本文进一步探究数字阅读媒介与人之间相互影响、相互建构的关系,将其分述为两大线索:线索一从人对媒介技术的引导性发展层面分析数字阅读媒介人性化进化的趋向,以此论证数字阅读与传统纸质阅读异质互补、相容相生的竞争关系;线索二从媒介技术偏向性对人的影响层面分析数字阅读媒介的静态特征及其对读者的认知、身份认同、权威构建三个方面产生影响,以此对数字阅读是否是浅阅读、碎片化、娱乐化阅读以及数字阅读中是否存在身份认同消解、权威式微进行根源性反思。全文共分为九章。第一章绪论,论述了本文的选题缘由、研究意义,在大量相关文献研读的基础上明确本研究的主旨、创新点与难点以及适用的研究方法与研究思路。第二章通过对480名数字阅读者的问卷调查,对数字阅读的现实图景作出基本描绘:数字阅读主体以年青人为主,中老年人群也在逐步增多;数字阅读并非是对简单资讯信息的填塞、对娱乐需求的一味满足,而是以实用信息阅读为主,长篇幅、深度性的内容为辅的多层次阅读,其资讯信息需求、专业知识需求、思想需求是促使数字阅读的三大主要驱动力。此外,手机媒介已超越报纸、图书等传统阅读媒介,成为数字时代的首选阅读媒介。在数字阅读中,读者较为普遍地存在主动搜索、主动书写、主动分享等主动性阅读行为,而传统意义上的公共空间与私人空间的区隔也在数字阅读中产生融合与相互嵌入。本文在全面描绘现实图景的基础上,对现今关于数字阅读争论的矛盾焦点予以总结提出,为后文的分章论述树立目标。第三章奠定本文立论的理论基础。本文将技术哲学与媒介环境学相结合,对媒介环境的三个层面从技术哲学的视角给予解读,进一步填补与缝合了媒介环境学中的“技术决定论”、“技术中性论”的缺陷,坚守“文化/技术共生论”、媒介与人的双向构建的立场,为后文中数字阅读媒介与阅读主体之间相互建构、相互影响的关系奠定基础。第四章从媒介环境的三个层面——感知环境、符号环境、社会环境论述数字阅读媒介的多感官交织式感知、双重符号的使用与超文本语言的引入、分享下的社交型阅读三大媒介特征,并以此论述数字阅读媒介的感知偏向、时空偏向、政治偏向以及社会偏向。第五章以人与媒介相互建构关系的第一条线索——人对媒介的引导性建构为脉络,从媒介进化论的视角论述数字阅读媒介在信息仿真层面、信息保存层面、即时对话层面的人性化进化,并以媒介进化论中“媒介生态位”的视角论述数字阅读与传统纸质阅读之间相容相生的关系。第六章、第七章、第八章则分别从数字阅读对人的认知、身份认同、权威建构三个层面共同论述人与媒介相互建构关系的第二条线索——媒介对人的影响,聚焦于数字阅读对读者的影响研究层面。第六章分析数字阅读对阅读主体认知的五层面——注意、感知、记忆、思维与问题解决、语言与想象产生的变革,同时从数字阅读媒介偏向性的视角分析阅读中认知碎片化、娱乐化产生的根源并对其进行反思。第七章将传统阅读中身份认同的建构与数字阅读中身份认同的建构加以对比分析,论述数字阅读中自我身份认同与群体身份认同建构所发生的变革。第八章从权威建构中的媒介因素为着眼点,论述传统阅读中文本权威、作者权威、文化权威的建构以及在数字阅读中文本权威、作者权威、文化权威发生的流变,并对数字阅读中传统权威的式微进行反思。第九章总结全文,归纳得出数字阅读媒介与阅读主体之间互为张力、双向建构的观点,并为建立良性阅读生态提供现实建议。同时,本章进一步从媒介生态位的视角为纸质阅读与数字阅读异质互补的竞争与发展之路提供建议。
[Abstract]:With the development of digital media technology, the traditional reading history began writing a new chapter. No longer read, and books, the paper compared.
