由身心入城到精神返乡—论90年代以来李佩甫小说中的城市书写

【摘要】：对于豫籍作家而言,乡土与权力是其孜孜不倦的言说对象。李佩甫,作为一名具有代表性的河南作家,他的作品曾致力于对豫中平原上乡村美好情感的讴歌,权力倾轧下万物生灵生存情态的勘探。但20世纪90年代以来,随着城市化进程的加快,城市以其迅急之势裹挟着乡村向现代化的道路上奔驰,乡村亦在城市强势的“拥抱”与“亲吻”中以半推半就之势彰显着迎合与拒斥的姿态。作为一名触摸时代脉搏的敏感作家,李佩甫试图打破评论家对河南作家及作品“得益于乡土又受制于乡土、厚重有余而灵动不足”的评价,开辟新的创作空间,将创作的重心逐渐从乡村转向城市。他感知着城市作为物质文明场域的强势之攻,开始观照城市对乡村进城者的吸引、城市作为现代物质文明的表征对进城者和在城者的形塑与异化,以及城市的日常景观与文化内涵,表现城市化进程下人类寻求理想家园的奋斗历程。本论文拟以进城者“身心向城——生存在城——渴望离城”这一动态过程为线索,透视李佩甫有关城市书写的小说文本,以期在吸纳、借鉴现有研究成果的基础上,梳理并探究进城者在城市的“前因后果”,表现作家在城市书写中所流露出的真切的内心体验,反映创作主体背后内隐的心理诉求与情感记忆。绪论部分主要阐释本论文的选题缘由、研究现状、研究目的与意义、及城市书写视角的归纳与概念的界定。第一章身心向“城”的本真诉求。就“城”的文化内涵而言,城市并非单纯意义上地理空间的城市,对于未曾进入城市的人来说,它还意味着一种理想的生活、一个绮丽绚烂的梦想。因此,本章第一节欲从城市的内涵:物质之城与精神之城来行文,物质之城代表着飞速发展的城市经济,跳跃着高楼大厦、霓虹街道的空间符号;精神之城不仅承载着无数人对城市的热爱与向往,也寄予了作家对解决农村走向城镇化这一人类学命题的思考与体悟。第二节主要从三个意象“蚂蚁、灯、女人”来勾勒出进城者由“想进城”到“进入城”这一动态的主体诉求。第二章生存在城的景观描摹。首先,对都市日常生活中欲望化的风景进行描写,并对都市中充满隔膜的人际关系进行描摹;其次,将关注的焦点重新聚焦于进城者身上,表现进城者积极融入城市以及融入之后的自我迷失。再者,在对前两节概括总结的基础上,从理论层面对都市文化中的消费文化与权力文化进行探究。第三章渴望离城的精神返乡。主要叙述在城者离城归土的梦想与渴望。他们一方面享受着城市物质文明的优越,另一方面人性的异化使其产生了返乡的意图与冲动,但是返乡之后却遭遇着家园失落的困窘。作为事实行为和情感平衡的怀乡,成为了无可逃避的精神焦虑。第四章“入城-返乡”模式的原因探析。主要从以下几个方面来挖掘作家创作背后的深层原因与心理诉求,包括文学史上关于城市和乡村叙述传统的浸染、城乡“两栖”经验的杂糅、对于人类精神生存的忧虑以及固守传统抑或认同现代的矛盾创作心理的映射。结语部分以李佩甫城市书写的得与失为例,对现代化背景下,文学如何书写城市这一命题进行思考。
