[Abstract]:As early as the end of the 20th century, Ding Xiaoyuan published the History of theoretical criticism of Chinese Reportage in the 20th Century, which opened the first research on the academic history of reportage theory.Subsequently, he published "Cultural Ecology and Reportage", "Modern Chinese Reportage Theory", "Chinese Reportage in the Mirror of Cultural Ecology" and "Thirty years' observation of Chinese Reportage".This time, he also produced this book, "modernity in the Progress" "May 4th" Prose Theory in late Qing Dynasty, and studied it.
