[Abstract]:The country in August is the literary work of the War of Resistance written by famous writer Xiao Jun. The novel truly reproduces the moving scene of the patriotic army and people fighting with the Japanese invaders under the leadership of the Communist Party after the September 18 incident. It shows that the people of the Northeast are unwilling to be slaves to the country and vows to defend their hometown to the death. The determination to strive for the freedom of national liberation and the indomitable spirit of struggle. After the novel came out in July 1935, it created a great sensation and was praised as "the cornerstone of the Anti-Japanese War Culture".
