“卡塔西斯”与亚里士多德美学思想的再认识

【摘要】：正 亚里士多德在《诗学》中给悲剧下定义的时候,曾提到悲剧具有“卡塔西斯”(catharsis)作用。由于亚里士多德语焉不详,这个概念的含义一直是研究者们争论不休的问题。在西方,自文艺复兴以来,对卡塔西斯有种种解释。根据罗念生先生的归纳,这些解释可分为两大类:第一类主张净化说,第二类主张宣泄说。主张净化说的以布乞尔为代表。他在《诗学》英译本中,将“卡塔西斯”一词译为Purgation(净化),从而有力地表达了他的观点。我国学者朱光潜先生,也是主张净化说的,他也将“卡塔西斯”译为“净化”。但朱先生的净化说,也包含有宣泄的意思,可以
[Abstract]:When Aristotle defined tragedy in Poetics, he mentioned the role of tragedy. Because Aristotle is vague, the meaning of this concept has been debated by researchers. In the West, since the Renaissance, there have been various interpretations of Catas.
